Props to Wood, Doc, HaVoC and others for keepin it real. It's not only the gear people....and I hope noone takes offense.

 

I'll post some pics when:

1. DHL decide it'll be cool to give me my M249

2. I get my BHI order

3. It gets warmer

haha, you poor guy....this DHL thing has really gotten to ya. I can relate though, cause i ordered my M249 Para (TOP) last january, and it took me till April to get it...the whole while the seller wasnt' responding to me after i sent the payment, so i was cr#ping myself like you wouldn't believe.

 

Can't wait to see it once she arrives though! :D

I tell thee, I can't win with those things. All I do is tuck them in, and they go 'Phwoomp!'. If I don't tuck them in, people say "Meant to tuck your trousers in". I might just go with shorts next time... :D

the idea is they go outside your boots so they don't get wet and wick water into your feet area. generally more pleasant all round. trouser twists are the way to go if you've lost the ties from the cuffs of yer trousers.

 

(still, union jack shorts...*shudder* a nightmare, yet somehow...fitting)
