Alucard's Jackal 13mm

Alright, any clues on the base gun of this handgun, it's from an anime, Hellsing, if any of you know of it. Looks to be a VERY LARGE Desert Eagle. Gun seems to be about a foot and a half in length, fires 12mm rounds. I wont need it that large, just want the look of it.Here's a pic-

your best bet is to make custom slide for a desert eagle.

That's what I figured, should I use sheet styrene and just build up around the regular slide?

judging from that pic, it looks like the whole slide is meant to recoil, rather than just the rear part of the desert eagle slide. attach what you build to the rear and you should be good.

chop the Desert Eagle frame to fit like a 1911 or glock frame, then make a custom slide... :-D

Just make sure it's strong enough to hold itself up.

Its got the desert eagle style grip.

 

 

To make one youd probably just make a big Glock-esqe block of a slide and make it fit on a Desert Eagle frame.

I saw that site, and though it may be "pug fugly" it's damn effective at dispatching demons.I'm going to get a longer DE barrel(the other KWC 10 incher) and put a pipe around it, making it completely cylindrical, and attach the whole slide to the rear area.

You could build it around pretty much any pistol its matter of how much plasticard and other such materials your willing to use.

the text on the slide is the wrong way round because it's a CS model, and incorrectly mirrored.

That slide looks sooooooo boring.. I haven't seen the Anime, but is the gun like that? No markings?

 

Edit: Oops I can see the markings, but the rear portion of the slide should have some groove marks like on a Glock.

The Jackal from the manga was essentially Beretta 92 (frame) based, with the great slab of a slide on top, and is what the Poseidon kit uses as its base.

 

An accurate version of the pistol from the anime is impossible to make due to it changing dimensions and design throughout, due to the somewhat poor and inconsistent cell art. That said, if you're using a 3d render to base it off, then I'd personally build a shell around a digicon straight custom.

I think I'm just gonna stick a bunch of styrene around a cheapy desert eagle springer and glue a longer barrel on it and be done with it. Nonfunctional, but cheap and would make a good wallhanger, which is all I really want.
