evilliboba
Does it look like the mag holds the gas and has a separate stick mag for the ammo?
D10
Yeah, looks like it... Although the stick mag looks like its kept inside the larger magazine when actualy in use. Typical star.
nightfire6
Does it look like the mag holds the gas and has a separate stick mag for the ammo? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I believe the Gas is held inside the gun itself, the mag might also be an additional reservoir, but I believe you put the stick inside the mag, but I'm not entirely sure. otherrandomhero
Awesome for us if it does use the sticks seperate from the mags, because then spares will be much, much cheaper. A stick mag can't cost more than $20 (knowing star they'll try to get as much for it as possible), as opposed to the $50-odd they'd try to get if the mag and gas chamber were the same part. Lance Jackass
Gas in the bolt surely?
Angry
Depending upon how much upgrading it'll need to get it working well I might consider selling my AICS for one of these.
nightfire6
Gas in the bolt surely? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes gas is inserted into the bolt. http://youtube.com/watch?v=c1-Kr4D_9Kc The little hole in the middle of the bolt is where you insert the gas, enough for at least a 100 shots. ianhaz
Ill wait for a review before i sell my aics for this.... The lack of an authentic l96 bolt makes me sigh evertime i look at my AICS

AliceHKfan
Ill wait for a review before i sell my aics for this.... The lack of an authentic l96 bolt makes me sigh evertime i look at my AICS <{POST_SNAPBACK}> why? it was never meant to be a AI rifle. it is what its supposed to be, a Remington M700 in a AICS stock
Pinkfloyd
All I know is a sniper rifle that has a folding stock gets a +1. No, +2. Folding stock sniper rifle is awesome, especially on an AI stock.
noodelssa80
Stars gas pistol shoots ca 370 - 380 fps, so what will this baby shoot 4** - 5** fps ?

Recommend Retail Price: USD 645 - Not real price, but observing from the M60 ~ $445 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just being a little picky... if it has a magazine then you can't call it single shot... cause you don't have to load everytime you shoot.. for single shot rifle, you have to pull back the bolt after every shot and manually insert a bullet (or bb in this case) into the chamber then close the bolt... but anyway, cool rifle... I wish they made the AW50 thou...something a little more different..
The Chef
I am positively gushing with excitement over this one. Looks truly sublime, I just hope to the gods that it shoots well. At the RRP of $645 its a hell of a price to shell out on Product Testing, although my burning desire may over-rule my tight wallet. Any chance one of our Far Eastern Brothers can get their grubby paws on a pre-release so they can do a review for us? Better to have at least someones view of it rather than buying blind. As for Power. It does indeed shoot quite hard, which is why Nightfire will have refrained from putting the power level in here. Very wise and Forum Compliant. So dont ask for it or post it. Those that know, know, and those that cant find out for themselves, really shouldnt be using one.

Lance Jackass
I'm suprised that no-one brought out a replacement "l96" bolt for the AICS. They would have sold one to most UK users
sam0096
Any idea when we may see this? Cheers Sam
Grumman
This looks very nice. As a user posted above, an AW50 replica would be amazing!

richie_j
so if the star rrp on the m60 is whatever and the "street" price is 400, what can we expect to see this for?
evilliboba
"- New Design Separate Available Gas Magazine & Stick Ammo Magazine." That would suggest that the gas goes into the mag... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like that idea. Usually a gas mag holds enough for three or for fulls of BB's. This ways you can quickly change to a fresh clip of ammo but not have to fiddle with loading BB's. If it works good, can produce a sub-400FPS rating on 134a or Green and is not too expensive, I can see myself selling off my M14 for it.
