Just got word that Element will release thier version of the Flip to side mount that the Airsoft community has been waiting for.

Im watching my inbox for exclusive photos but I do know that these will be out in March. According to my contacts the first batch has already been bought out by http://ebaybanned.com and the retail price of these should be around 20 to 25 USD including shipping.

Also http://ebaybanned.com has the new versions of both the 552 551 Eotech replicas with improved finished that matches the real Eotech and also 100% adjustable no ghosting and not made by Element!!!!

Talking of Element the 553 in DFE will also be re-released durring March with corrections to all the issues that have plagued previous element eotech replicas.

Also soon to be released:

surefire helmet flashlight

Various front sights

Copy of the replica TM tracer (that was discontinued by TM)

metal M4 body in sand

Quality 8 pouch OTV set

Anyway, when i get more news and images I will post them up here!

Eo looks better but it still has a major problem that I didnt see on the real EoTech I babysitted for 2 weeks. If you look in the pictures at ebay banned of the larger of the two you can see the projector glare from the lights down there. Now the EoTech I played with did not have this glare or if it did it wasent noticable through the optic. From their picture it looks rediculously heavy making this less pleasing. Although it's a step in the right direction and maybe another step torwards me buying one (the real Eo was nice but it would only work on my M16A4 as they dont look too great on M14's)

I was really tempted to buy a real EOTech or Aimpoint 3x magnifier. I bought the Aimpoint 3x clone (which was complete sh*t), and I was thinking of buying the real deal as I figured it'll actually work with my real holos whereas my replicas were having horrible alignment issues. But thinking about it more... TBH, for AEGs I just don't see the need for it. It's not like our guns are accurate enough to really take full advantage of the 3x magnification. Which is why as far as I'm concerned I'll keep the replica around for the look, but I'll never use one in game.

If I do decide to get a decent magnified optic, I may just go with LaRue's Po'Boy Special.

just for the record...real eotech, fake aimpoint 3x = no alignment issues.

Glad I'm not the only one to encounter that. With all the cheap Tasco optics and such out there with decent alignment, I can't for the life of me understand why the cloners couldn't even get the replica 3x alignment in the right ball park.

Just to clarify, my EoTech (real) and the new ACM Aimpoint 3x magnifier exhibit no alignment issues, it's all good! Not tried it with a fake EoTech.

Ahhh... my bad. Well then my experience was the complete opposite. Perhaps my 3x mag was a lemon. But it didn't work with any of my RS Eotechs (tried with 1 551, 2 552s, and a 553). It was definitely the 3x mag. :(

what was it doing? just shoving the eotech reticule and target completely off from where the BB is going?

Yep. Also, in order for me to be able to have the reticule viewable through the 3x mag.... once that was done I could no longer aim with both eyes open.

I would much rather get the LaRue option... 2.5 is more than enough for my AEGs.... And your getting a real optic for $50, and the LaRue awesome mount with it ($150)... Doesn't get much better.... The actual optic is cheaper than the ACM mag. Plus with hk shipping ($20 at least...) and ths ACM FTS mount for another $30ish dollars, and the fact that it is hugely hit or miss with them... I would rather pay another $60 odd for something I can depend on....
