SCW 1 and 2 are much better than 3. 3 breaks down alot quicker than any other system in HQ GBBs today. you can see light strikes within a few months.

the internals just cant handle green gas.

it doesn't last much longer on 134a either.

What replacement internals are necessary to make it green gas compatible?

The part which holds the valve striker to the hammer is a flimsy little roll pin. Given the harder recoil using green gas, the pin is easily damaged causing a misalignment of the striker. With that, the striker deflects against the valve when it hits rather then pushing it open all the way leading to light strikes and also damages the striker eventually. One way to fix it is to replace the pin with a solid one and file down deformities on the striker when it slips and hits part of the sub-frame.

is that the only problem with the SCW3 design? just get an MBK and replace the roll pin and it should be good to go for as long as any other gas gun on green?
