yep. This is a second hand one off ebay though (beat to hell and armoury markings on it). only the vltor buffer tube is new. Apologies if i bought that in the wrong colour too. I intend to paint it anyway, so an FDE stock would be a pointless purchase.

Just tapping and brushing with a blunt metallic item over the surface of the paint, then rubbing with fingers 'til bits flake off, concentrated on the raised areas. the plastic parts are a lot harder to wear realistically, might experiment with white spirits for the pistol grip (or something)

Just some constructive criticism: Scrape it off and start again. (Unless you got your toddler son to do it and it has sentimental value or something.)

Couldn't wait for CQB front ends for the star to become widely available, so i guess this is a practice paintjob. Got a VFC M4QD suppressor just ordered off wgc so it's even more pointless to have done my painting today rather than after it arrives, but nevermind.
