  1. CKinnerley- The "Keep Calm and Carry On" patch is my favorite of those three you have posted. How do PVC patches hold up compared to embroidered ones? -Piano
  2. Just showed up today from EHA. I should have a chrono report this weekend. -Piano
  3. Very nice, rizzini7. Where did you get the E-type front sight? I have a USN front with the Smith Ind ring-type front sight and was thinking about swapping to the sideways-E. -Piano
  4. TM Five-seveN w/ Streamlight TLR-1s. -Piano
  5. Horses for courses, StarMonkee. I think some of us who already have the VFC can may now wish to have waited, while others don't care that there is a cheaper alternative. It might prod a company other than Falcon to make an extended inner barrel for the MP7, but we shall see. -Piano
  6. I wouldn't cast them as the rubber normally used to make molds for resin castings may not play nice with your ANVIS. I recommend using them as a model from which to take measurements to build a reverse mold, around which to make the RTV rubber mold for the resin replicas. -Piano
  7. Hopefully the last picture I'll take of my MP7 as I think I have a trade lined up for a VFC HK416. -Piano
  8. It's packed full of stuff right now, and thus, sticks out maybe 3-4" off the belt, which is an inch more than the dump pouch (which has plastic sheet stiffening the opening). If you pack less stuff in it, it'll be naturally less bulky. Right now I have a pair of nitrex gloves, an abdominal pad, a roll of first aid tape, a 4" Hemorrhage Control Bandage, and a 2.25" Kerlix roll in it. *edit* It's equivalent in thickness to the BFG IFAK that' descended from the ATS model, but not as wide as it takes up only 2 columns. -Piano
  9. It's a TYRTactical Micro SOF IFAK, Velcro Cutaway. There is a velcro'd insert that all of the ifak's contents fit into and is retained by an optional length of shock cord once it is free of the velcro. I have a Benchmade Hook that I thought about putting on the belt, but I figured I wouldn't clutter it up. The Gun Clip is going to be replaced by a Safariland 6377. -Piano
  10. While not as gucci as a Crye belt, I'm really impressed with it and the pouches. I hope to be using it at a carbine class this summer. -Piano
  11. medic23- Are you looking for a Universal Belt Loop (UBL) for a Safariland you already have? 6070UBL Standard Mid Ride 6075UBL 1.5" Drop Mid Ride 566BL - High Ride Belt Loop (1" or 2" higher than the 567BL) 567BL Belt Loop - Adjustable Angle Fit -Piano
  12. The image above is labelled incorrectly. Those vests are just the stock SF model, not the AF model. Take a good look at the release located at the neck area. The flap that covered the QR pull has a tab that is tucked and velcro'd on the body side of the vest, and the flap is pulled down. On the AF model, the flap is pulled up to access the QR pull, and the tuck tab has been reduced to a length of webbing acting as just a pull tab. For more information on the RBAV-AF, http://www.scribd.com/doc/49512327/RBAV-AF *edit* Nasty, let us know how the AF model is. I used to own an earlier S
  13. KWA MP7 w/ VFC Suppressor. PEQ-15 is the VFC working model, Surefire M600C is hidden, and the Aimpoint Micro on the Larue Mount was purchased from a buddy here. -Piano
  14. KWA Proshop is where I ordered my trigger safety less than a week ago. Just search for M17 parts and it should show up. -Piano
  15. The long front end gives it an RPK-ish look, though it might just be the angle. -Piano
  16. I purchased my PGC G18 slide and outer barrel kit from WGCshop. EHA and RW might also have them in stock. I had no issues installing it, but your milage may vary. -Piano
  17. I think it's a similar problem with mine as the PGC slide is a perfect fit with the GC, but the lower frame of the KSC is slightly too wide and the trigger guard needs some light modification to the bottom. Keep us posted on the Crye belt. I'm looking at a TYR/VTAC Brokors Battle Belt. -Piano
  18. Eizen- How's the fit of the TM glock with the Gun Clip? I had to soak mine in hot water so it would loosen a bit to get it to work better with my KSCs. -Piano *edit* A buddy of mine has a Gun Clip for his real G19 and has no issues.
  19. If you could figure out a way to have a rear sling point on the side and purchase a RIS sling mount for the rail, you might be able to duplicate the effect. Best of luck regardless of what way you go, -Piano
  20. Specter Gear makes a 3-point sling that moves the mounting points to the side of the gun, making it a lot more comfortable to use. -Piano
  21. Very nice, how does the TLR-2 compare with the Surefire? -Piano
  22. From top to bottom: 1) Troy TRX Extreme Battle Rail. 2) Replacement DYTAC TRX Extreme Battle Rail. 3) DYTAC TRX Extreme Battle Rail. The replacement rail that was sent to me is a little lighter than both the Troy TRX and the first DYTAC replica. Additionally, the barrel nut is a rougher finish, though it feels better than the original. However, it is obvious when compared to the Troy TRX, which one is the replica and which one is real. Feel free to ask any questions that may arise. -Piano
  23. Velocity Systems OAV with MSA Twaron inserts and ICW plates. -Piano
  24. Very nice, but I'm a bigger fan of the older model myself. -Piano
