  1. Why thank you. I probably should have remembered that pictures don't need to be posted at the exact moment they're taken, so the watch is probably on time though......
  2. Looks like the police raided a weapon smugglers house. New toy: An old WA 4013 / Shorty Forty. Unfortunately I can't find much on it, except that they first started appearing around 1999 or 2000. Can't even find anything about the real ones.
  3. It's no longer "Royal Hong Kong Police?" HK police never used the 1911? Your watch is running 21 minutes behind? The gun is cocked but not on safe? There's a white hair on the third stripe up from the bottom left corner of the pic? You haven't changed your sheets?
  4. Thanks guys. I thought that's what it was for, but I don't really see how it would work that much.... Is it Classic Army? Really don't know, I'm just throwing out brands. Edit: Just tried fake recoiling my M14 with the butt plate open, definitely feel how it could reduce muzzle climb. Feels too much like it'll fall off on mine though, so I think I'll just leave it closed....
  5. Star? Might as well ask, why do M14s have a second buttplate? I see it opened in a lot of photos, is it supposed to be opened while firing?
  6. WA M4 with full lenght barrel not at RedWolf: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=24688 Bit more expensive though. Probably be better to just get the CQB and a G&P barrel, right?
  7. Nice AKs, although the Tactical one looks a little too long. What's the deal with the zebra stripes? Please tell me that that location was borrowed from a friend.
  8. Ah, thanks for the info. I don't think anyone's mentioned, does this thing seem to be picky about the quality of ammo you feed it? Also, I think it's a bit funny that RW listed the WA's mag under "AEGs."
  9. It's been over two months since my last entry. Not really sure why I haven't updated, just too lazy I guess. A bit's gone on in the past 60 days, though nothing really more interesting than what I usually post. About the title: It's surprisingly difficult coming up with a smart and interest-grabbing blog title, so leave me alone! Relating to airsoft, not a whole lot has happened. I sold off a large portion of my collection, though I still have a pretty decent amount of stuff left. I am still trying to get rid of some more of the things that rarely see use, like that assassin case I
  10. How does the WA mag hold BBs? In the front with an open spring and follower style like a regular GBB, right? If it's like that then presumably a shorter mag would have to hold less BBs right?
  11. That's not true with this search though. For the heck of it, tried to search for "Tana" to see if any threads with "Tanaka" would come up. Only got one result: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...455&hl=tana Search for the full "Tanaka" and I don't get all of the results because they're limited to the first thousand (which is more than I'd look through). However, searching for "Tana*" brings up pretty much the same results as "Tanaka." Oddly enough though, when I previously tried searching for "AUG*" a few months ago, I only got results for "August" or "AUGs," not
  12. Still, it's probably worth it (for me, anyhow) to hold out a bit more just to see how it compares. Hopefully that extra time the TK C8 is spending in development will show through.
  13. CYMA SOC16, with a KA bi-pod of some sort, and standard Marui mags. Pretty standard right now, and this exact same rifle has been seen in in this thread in a very similar configuration. I still want to get a scope mount, and a better battery, and possibly give it a CoD4-style digital camo paint job (just cause I think it looks cool). I'm also thinking I might want to try to find and fit a standard M14 heat shield and get rid of that rail. This gun's provided me with a bunch of little surprises. Didn't expect the rail to be too far ahead to be able to mount a scope, and I didn't expect
  14. What's number one? Maybe I don't want to know...
  15. I've noticed that the clock fluctuates an hour sometimes. Once I kept checking to see if one member was on, and sometimes it would say the last time he was active was at 7:00PM on one day, and then I would check and it would say the last time active was at 8:00PM on the same day. Not sure if it's related to your problem...
  16. I've noticed they've seemed a bit slower. I thought it was my internet connection going all wacky again, but other websites don't seem to be any slower.
  17. I think that stock looks great period. It looks exceptional for being hand made. Was that cut out from a block of wood, or a stock modded to fit a Marui M14? IIRC, in real life the Socom 16 also has a re-worked gas system because of the chopped-down barrel. In airsoft, the SOCOM also has those little checkered bits on the stock.
  18. What happens? When you click "upload review," the page never finishes loading and stays a blank white page, right? I and a few other people have had the same problem. I don't know what the problem is, since I've tried with different browsers and PCs in my house, but all had the same problem. I was able to upload at another house without a problem. AFAIK you can't have photos uploaded from a website like Photobucket directly. You could add photos directly into the text part of the review using the same BB code you use within the forums, which is what I've been doing.
  19. Just an Indonesian Squier J-Bass, but as I'm still learning, it does its job well: I made the pickguard myself though.
  20. Not really up there with the beauties in this thread, but it is a 1911: I had a broken Hogue slip-on grip, so I tried to see if I could copy the Pachamyr (Spelling?) style grip. Don't think it came out that well to be honest, so I might try to work on it a bit more.
  21. Almost another three weeks have past since my last update, and although a lot of stuff has gone on, I don't have too much to add. First, I did buy that bass guitar. It's a Fender Squier J Bass, which was part of a package that included "everything I needed to get started." Basically it was just about everything I needed; an amp, a tuner, a strap, a cable, a DVD, and a bag (for the guitar, obviously). Even though I went in the music store with the intention to buy a book and just look, then research, I ended up spending about an hour looking and asking questions (it was a small shop tho
  22. You make some really killer GTA weapon models/textures, man. :)

  23. Once again, I feel that I'm wasting my life, doing nothing and not bettering myself. After what has to be done is done (well, the bare minimum, but I'm lazy and don't really feel like doing more...), I do the same stuff over and over again. After a while it becomes unfulfilling, and more importantly, less entertaining. So I was thinking of doing something I rarely ever even consider. I'm thinking about trying to commit to something completely new. I think I'm going to try to learn how to play the bass guitar. After playing (damn near mastering ) numerous "like you're playing a gu
  24. "You have just become conscious of your breathing. Enjoy."

    You suck. :P

  25. Looks really good. Nice review. I'm hoping they'll make a chrome version. What do you think the chances are?
