it was actually a new style of helmet for pilots from what i heard but the Airforce and Navy denied it for their pilots and they let the SEALs have fun with them. like 733 or something of them made. All the sources ive read vary about the story. whatever but its still not impossible...i mean ive seen some weird recycled gear in officicial photos. Still im thinking about a 2001 or airframe but i do like my IBH allot, just needs better pads and straps.

Love this rifle here. I've got my bland ol' G&G GR16 carbine with NO RIS/RAS, how is that Noveske rail system? I love the look of the full length rail system over the barrel. Also love the little grip past the short grip, looks VERY comfortable. Now if only I had the money to work on both my Mk.18 AND my M4 Carbine.... :/

Sorry should be more detailed, low profile I mean like a MICH 2001 or even 2002 (with less ear protection for comms versus standard helmets) or in my case an IBH which is great but is more DEVGRU than CAG but I imagine its POSSIBLE some lone SF/CAG operator bummed one...Who knows. the Crye Airframe is all the rage now in general for that "special ops" look. Anyways, is that a FAPC plate carrier or an HPC?

I'm obsessed with CAG loadouts and this thread is almost dangerous for my wallet...not even joking lol. What do you guys suggest for cammies these days? I've been out of the game for a while and while I liked the desert/woodland combo for looks AND because my current rig matches it better I saw Multicam and then ATACS and then some other *suitcase* and now I'm like fffuuuuuuuu Of course I could just stick with what I have, buy a *suitcase* ton of Paraclete and be all like The Unit (I loved that show BTW). But I've got myself a low profile helmet already which makes it for some reason temping

Love it. First thing that comes to mind when I think US Army SF is either a mix of modern or semi modern gear with beat up native clothing/gear or early a-stan like rigs. I love the M4 (or is it more towards a late CAR-15 adjustable stock/M733?) and its basic look, says allot. Overall the impression is great, boots look a bit off in my eyes (I'm no expert) but none the less they look efficient.

G&G GR16 v3... Not much has changed but this gun has been with me for a while now. Very reliable and IMO very accurate and long range...it shoots about 350 but can outrange allot with the tight bore barrel.

Super small skirmish on my friends land yesterday...was supposed to play today but I have church Very informal gear....didn't feel like wearing my real stuff given the size (~6 people). Games were short and sweat, i hate dragged out games....first game was me and a friend vs all, friend got taken out then I killed about 2 other guys and I finally got the last guy with a total luck shot of me firing my M4 upside down because I had one BB left in my high cap (literally, I feel accomplished). After we did a photoshoot type thing...

@aznriptide, well I play cqb allot so I just run the rig alone but come summer when I hit some more ops I'm going to need a hydration system so I figure ill buy a camobackpack non molle and call it a day. Not as sustaining as a 3 day survival pack hooked to a CIRAS but I can always mooch off others and carry the basics.

The WE Desert Warrior? Its really a great gun. Barrel isnt threaded though which sucks seeing as everyone advertises that. Ah well ill just buy an after market threaded barrel. According to my oponents its bite is pretty nasty too.

Oh yeah and tell me what you guys think of the gun, I really like it so far. Had a little trouble with the propane in the cold at my CQB place but it worked for a round or two.

@1st Shooter, Wow great loadout! I always love a good SAS impression! I think a browning Hi-power would look slightly better but the SIG definatly isnt out of place.

I feel like ive seen that gun along with several other tastefully customized AR variants and a few pistols somewhere else before...did you ever post on ASF (Havent been on there in like 3 years thank God for that).?Great looking gun though, love the suppressor and the pain job is really what brings it alive.

Exactly. It took a little bit of adjusting of the pads and straps on my IBH to get it to how I like, sometimes it would sit too high, sometimes it would sit too low but Ive got it just right now. I really doubt theres that much of a difference though I prefer a MICH2001 to the rest, IMHO MICH2000's and PASGT's look best when the operator has allot of other armor, otherwise it makes the operator look like his head is terribly misproportioned or that they don't have enough armor protecting their torso compared to their head.

No...IBH was a prototype helmet for the airforce that failed so DEVGRU picked them up among other units. I like the IBH though, fits nice and I can actually hear.

Nice review. the only one i can find too so lucky its good. Just ordered one and ill try and see how it compares with a TM. Sorta nervous about the mags but ill report in with details and try and.answer some of the weird questions you guys have if you want.

@ STUNTMAN, Beautiful load outs really great. The only thing that kills them is those neon yellow stocks....I'm assuming Portugal has more strict laws in place? Ive seen that before I just thing it looks pretty obscure....but your load outs are very realistic.
