trfo2o
My painted M15 with real steel foregrip: Cheers! Mobaar <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've seen Godofwar post the same pic claiming it was his. I remember a guy trying to sell me a VSR-10 showing me the same pictures and saying he needed the money to fund that M15. WHO'S IS IT.
mobaar
I rest my case. BTW, I WAS that guy trying to sell the VSR to fund the project. And I did fund the project . Mobaar
shankskank
Okay here's my first attempt at camo painting! TM M733 with metal Hurricane body and Guarder X177 metal flash hider. The scope is a 2x Red Dot! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> damn much better than my first attempt, howd you do it?
trfo2o
whoa....Well I remember for sure im a 100% positive godofwar posted those EXACT same pictures in the armalite thread. Not sure which one though, the current or the previous one that's locked now. I SWEAR though did you buy it from him? or do you know him? I wonder why he would lie like that even when his collection is friggin nut already.
mobaar
Well I actually think you are mistaken, and of course no offense intended. I posted this in the Armalite section as well, the older one, and if you look at my previous posts and his, I'm the only one with the post. And no, this was entirely a job done by me. No buying of the weapon from anyone else. Mobaar
trfo2o
lol ya your right I found his post where he quoted you. I guess I never read the text and assumed it was his. My appologies to you and god of war.
stewpidbear
Right better link to picture! TM M733, Hurricane metal body, 2x Red dot scope, internally upgraded. First attempt at paint job!

sumblackguy
CA M15A4 CQB + addons... Enjoy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> nice, would look better if you painted the mag though. But other than that, great job.
Psico
I didn´t painted the mags because I have another M15A4 in woodland camo
Chrome Beretta
Nice, i really like this one. I have a quetion, when you guys paint your guns, do you airbrush them or just use a can of spraypaint?
Tommygunn
Psico, Your suppresor is upside down. The locking brackets should be on top. Yeah, don't paint your mags as it is just not the done thing. Mil-sim you know.
BARsrule2
Most people use spray paint, it works fine, is durable, and is what the real guys use anyways... remember its not art, it's breaking up the outline of the gun
pillow_pwnage
Tommygun, the QD suppressor can be mounted any way you want. That is the glory of having a round flash hider to mount it on, you don't have to line up anything to put it on.
Tommygunn
Well no, because it is a Knight's Armament inspired suppressor and it is designed to have the brackets lock from the top. There is a spigot inside, below the lock that engages into the cut out in the bottom edge of the flash hider when attached properly so that it doesn't twist. G&P has this spigot inside as do, I presume, Guarder and VFC who make accurate copies(unlike CA, ICS, G&G). Edited September 14, 2006 by Tommygunn
jonarthur
my first AEG and my first spray job im such a noob ... here gose .. what you guys think ? btw im loving some of the paint jobs on here !
Tommygunn
The colouration is not my taste but the pattern is spot on. Actually, the colour gives it a somewhat classy look, maybe it is the contrasts in colour. I like it a lot as fashionable item, you might say, but not for practical purposes. Nice one. jonarthur
well the idea is i play urban and abit of woodland ... so i went with green for woodland and gray for urban ... but the gray looks white in the pic thanks for the comment
Merc
I like that. Nice job.
mobaar
You may want to add a touch of brown to it. While the painting is absolutely great, the color choice and use you want makes it tough -- the biggest giveaway to something is the lines of it, and the second are the lines within it. If you add a color in between the light tan and the black it'll hide better. I say add brown, it'll make your woodland pattern pop a little better. You can even cover most of the green with it, as the gun's only SO big, if I had to choose a color to sacrifice it'd be green because you want black for urban and neutral tones for nature, tan and brown can mix in woodland and urban environments. Just my opinions. Great job for a first paint! Mobaar
jonarthur
hmm adding some brown sounds like a good idea what kind of brown ? light or dark ? i personally would say a lightish brown ?
mobaar
That may be something you have to test. I'm thinking not terribly light but not real dark. Like crayon brown, only flat. You may have to go with something lighter than the Krylon brown, but that's a good place to start. If you have an extra shade of brown, it's no biggie. Mobaar
SilentSwift
Thanks Chrome. I just used spray paint cans, not airbrushing. jonarthur, I'm definatley torn on yours. I think it looks really cool, but the colors perhaps not effective? But, cool. Haha, then again, with it being gray, it might work better, not the white that it looks to be. jonarthur
yea its not white ... looks mega white in the pic .. i might ty and get another pic ...
