Blindside
To be accurate as possible, get CB. Plus its nice to get a bit of variety if you already own a tan setup.
Fatal
The guys I have seen with a IFAK as a fanny pack have been from 1st Force (Iraq 06) 1st Recon (at Mojave Viper in 06) 4th Recon (my buddy) and a hand full of guys from 1st Light Armored Recon (which is much different then Recon Bn) now is it still like this at these units, no clue. The point is, which still stands just because it is the standard doesn't mean other things aren't done. Just for one of you who don't know, I wasn't with a POG unit. I was a 0311/0313 with 1st LAR. masakarijoe
An O-6, an O-4, two Ssgts. All of which are 0302s and 0311 and 0369. That was what they told me. And even more specific on the placement of the medical equipment. That I don't understand. Coming from four sources all from different units. If you don't believe me, just disregard. I trust their judgment over some person on an airsoft board. If you are an 0321 and can prove it, then I am wrong, but until you can prove that to me. OK. We have conflicting information. sigh. enlist. get info for yourself. then tell us what you have seen, not what others have. and every unit is different. very, very different. -Joe
sierra hotel
For your viewing pleasure, a Marine instructional video on the IFAK and basic medical stuff. WITH CARL WEATHERS! That's right Apollo Creed/Dillon narrates this video with some pretty okay information. One of the things he doesn't touch upon however is, burns to the face may also indicate burns to the throat. If someone is close enough to a heat source to char his face, he more than likely "inhaled" that heat and burned his throat. So don't assume this video presents the latest in medical knowledge, it's just here for entertainment because APOLLO CREED! edit: well rather than me uploading here just PM me an e-mail address and I will send them to those interested. Carl Weathers cracked me up in that video.

I won't lie, I used my fanny pack to carry beef jerky or sometimes fruits. When you deployed did you ever come across an energy drink called "Rip Its"? They're like in small half-cans and they have like 6 red bulls worth of sugar or something.
Fatal
Yes, we would take cases upon cases before we went on longer missions mainly for the drivers. They worked pretty good, better then the old Tabasco in the eye trick. Here is a picture of the 2 Marines from the Magpul Dynamic Handgun video. The Marine on the left has info on being a Art-O. So I'm guessing they aren't Recon Battalion or higher.
Faint
Hersey Marines don't use the M110 /sarcasm off

KWP
That guy looks like he might be wearing an EPC, I wouldn't mind picking up one of those for this. Is that SpecterDR FDE or Black? I would love to not have to buy one of those god awful chinese FDE ones... Yes, I would also say it's the Eagle Plate Carrier. I had one in Coyote Brown, but I hated it for its mothereffing color shifting. The rest was fine, maybe even better thant the SPC. I wonder why that Marine is wearing the EPC. It doesn't look like an old photo.
Grantfallen
In the words of the Joker “where does he get those wonderful toys” Genuine Notoros Mount and Arm, Nice find. I don’t think that I’m even going to attempt to try to track one of those boys down, I’ll stick with my Chinese replica on my replica MICH. (grumble) Surely you’re getting close to the end of your collection. What happens then?

tomster
Thanks for the compliments. I actually got the shroud and arm from Ebay, like most of my stuff. Seller sent it from Camp Pendleton. And yeah I've come to a point where there's less and less to hunt down unfortunately. There are some items left that I would like to add to the collection though, but I will be taking it more slowly from now on I guess. Some pics of the cover. Unfortunately NSN and contract number are blacked out.
GRIM!
Why are some stuff "blacked out" nice stuff btw!
Pkekyo-Nor
Most likely demilitarized contract and/or NSN numbers, I'd imagine. Has been done on some of my RLCS stuff as well...
Blindside
Grim, pictures with the RRV are a fair bit rarer than those with a CIRAS, not to mention its often from odd angles. Here's what I've got part of my collection, there are more but I'm to lazy to upload right now as I've got class soon plus a couple of other things uploading, if you go through the MFR section on my phtobucket you may find more. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/sean56691/5-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/sea...bf2de4e7999.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/sean56691/adj.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/sean56691/adm.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/sea...91/dsc00022.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/sea...91/dsc00009.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/sea...91/dsc00007.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/sea...91/dsc00006.jpg
GRIM!
Thx but i guess u were reading in the seals thread at the same time as this since i am looking for seal DA pic with RRV http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...0&start=420 Altho more on topic, i remember several of you were doubting 3-col kneepads was used and i posted some blurry zoomed in pics to proove but this pic Blideside just linked is a great example on that CB kneepads are not used.
master_titled
http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/...il?prodID=28471 Bwahahha, it was only a matter of time... I'm sure they will eventually make it in CB.
Agent Hunk
but this pic Blideside just linked is a great example on that CB kneepads are not used. Wasn't their just several posts of debate/facts from Marines regarding statements like this?
Squeezee
TBH, they're kneepads. I don't think it really matters what color they are as long as they're not ACU or flamingo pink with cheetah spots. As for the Pantac extender thingy, I knew they'd make it. I'm impressed though, already out of stock! Also, An RRV without a backplate is okay for greenside, right?
