Seraphim989
Yes, I saw those too, that store certainly has some lovely employees. But, they are unrelated to the WE L85, so I didn't comment on them. Besides, Panoptes, you of all people are trying to distract from SA80s?
gijohn2
Stuff the SA80 im more interested in what panoptes posted
Horse84
Any word yet on whether a RIS unit like this one http://boomarms.com/shop/item.cfm?id=ACM-RAS-L85 will fit?
Panoptes
It looks like the WE front end is based on the ICS so I would say no. WE are trying to source a DD RIS though - read into that what you will...
rolling-thunder
Hi Horse,i'm afraid it wont fit but i have been told there's an ICS compatible one in the pipeline eventually.

aznriptide859
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sS0i1j2o-I&feature=player_embedded RATech's preview vid of the L85, as well as the GHK AKM and a MASADA GBBR (the one that was shown some time back with the SCAR OB conversion). Few deductions: Trigger pack is a modified M4/SCAR type (not surprising) Bolt looks almost exactly like the SCAR OB Hopup adjustment is completely internal (requires disassembly) Stock FPS widely ranges from 400-450 w/ .2's
Reppyboyo
Disappointing hop adjustment. Looks like a pain to do.
deepsix
aside from needing a wrench, I'm sure the hop is accessible with the bolt pulled back.

ryangolfvr6
another review on redwolf looks like the top rail for mounting sites is 18mm wide will be fun finding sights to fit on it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eJw3kijq6M
rolling-thunder
Wasn't the rails a problem for another replica & people ended up buying a replacement rail.I think i'd prefer the replacement option over having an adapter which will raise the scope up even more. Many trijicon acogs for airriffles come with a 18mm adapter
Panoptes
He should be shot for holding the rifle like that. Disgraceful...
ED-SKaR
I love the video where they try to attach 20mm RIS scopes to the 19mm doverail, idiots . Where does it say that this rail is 18mm??
LordElpus
He should be shot for holding the rifle like that. Disgraceful... It appears he was holding it like that not to foul up the shot of the chrono readout.
Rvrstyxx
Where does it say that this rail is 18mm?? About 1:20 in RW's video.

WhiteHawksan
Its 19mm, same as RS ICS etc I believe, as the Hornbill ACOG adaptor is meant to fit it.
ED-SKaR
Its 19mm, same as RS ICS etc I believe, as the Hornbill ACOG adaptor is meant to fit it. It should be 19mm, maybe MR redwolf just got it muddled up. Also not that RSOV are selling a package of the ACOG mount with the WE satie.
Panoptes
It appears he was holding it like that not to foul up the shot of the chrono readout. No, I think it's because he watches far too much Chris Costa... What's up with the trigger? Looks weird.
raito
Does it use the regular WE M4 mags or the new open bolt ones?
