Foxtrot
Taken from Yahoo news: Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy told parliament that he had ordered the deportation of non-French rioters convicted, even those with valid residency papers. Oh thats's gonna bloody help the mess... Anyone else see this happening again in a short time? (meaning, less then a year?) I certianly do. Not exactly a key way to handle the problem "Oh, lets deport everyone who's not French!" Yeah, and I thought the American goverment was stupid.

Steve Pearson
Pity we cannot apply that here. Oh I forgot, it would harm their "Human Rights" and we'd all be accused of being "Racist Little Englanders Blah Blah Blah...."

Oh I forgot, it would harm their "Human Rights" and we'd all be accused of being "Racist Little Englanders Blah Blah Blah...." <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree I know an American slogan...love it or leave it (or something), it's in my opinion what should be applied in my country, they always blame the governement for not helping them for work or integration, but do they know all the helps we are giving to them (free bus, free sports, free...so much things) ? They don't like France and everybody here know that, but nobody wants to tell it, the only ones we hear are socialists or communists... These "rioters" blame Sarkozy for saying two years ago "I'm gonna clean these suburbs with a Karcher"...and it has no ratio with what's happening now, cos it was after a young boy was killed in a rival bands clash. Gov. must do something and I'm with Sarkozy right now, cos he's the only one who does something, and doesn't only say "we're going to..." Steve Pearson
(sry if you don't understand some sentences, tell me) It's better than most of the english written on these forums by people who are British! Oh no, just noticed Sledge is reading this thread........(holds breath)
Crazy_Harry
quite right too. They dont respect the countries laws, why should they stay? ~ferg~ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> all depends who it is whose writing the laws though, doesn't it? especially in an issue that is clearly about the ingrained and institutionalised levels of racism in France's political and social structure. sometimes rules are unjust. I always thought it was the point of a democracy to enable people to protest such laws without fear of persecution. my mistake, obviously.

They've never found it But then, they've never looked Of course, what's the point of looking if you know it's not there? But how do they know its not there? They've never found it... However, I feel shooting police officers and burning 400 cars a night is probably the wrong way to go about it. Just my opinion ~ferg~
Desolation mkII
Agreed ferg Oh thats's gonna bloody help the mess... Anyone else see this happening again in a short time? (meaning, less then a year?) I certianly do. Not exactly a key way to handle the problem "Oh, lets deport everyone who's not French!" Yeah, and I thought the American goverment was stupid. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, they have little choice. I imagain that their prisons will be overflowing. And it will stop them doing it again if they are deported. It probably is the best idea that they have got. As I said, prisons will be filling up, gunning them down would only exacabate the problem, temporaraly detaining them would mean that they would be released. Any how I agree with you raptor, how is it looking over there is there an end in sight?
The End
Imagine it.. you've got your target in sight, pull the trigger and your target is pushed admingst the crowd, you shoot the wrong person. Whoopsie? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Let god sort'em out.
Holmes
With you on that. But shouldn't we help god a little by deporting them all to Antartica?
Foxtrot
I'll compair it to something else. Their African/Muslim immigration problem goes alot deeper then just deporting people. Because as they deport them, more will grow into a rioting mood as loved ones get deported. Thusly, more problems down the line. Long and short: It's national sponsored racism. If your for that, it just proves my point. Its along the same lines as Mexicans in America, or Cubans in S. Florida, etc. If America started to deport EVERY illegal immigrant, or event some legal ones that cause trouble... there'd be alot of people leaving. Look at the huge riot that was caused a few years ago when we Deported the cuban boy.
Holmes
Elian Gonzales, IIRC. Ever hear what Dave Chappell had to say about that?
