Deepeyes
Awesome helmets guys, I have a mich 2001 but i can never wear it. I always look "special" when i put it on o_O
oxford
I know what you mean, without all the ###### attached to them and hearing protectors they can look very bowl head like! Make sure you adjust it too, as if it sits too high on your head it looks even worse!
BigD_SealTeamXXL
ive seen these on yours and tinkles MICHs what are the LED looking thinks attached to what looks like a battery pack on your helmets?
oxford
That is an aviation lip light as used by pilots. Simply is 3 LEDs wired to a battery pack. Usually sourced from the US for about 20 quid or so. Ebay.com
tinkle60
Mic light is the search term you want to use.

Milla
Its almost impossible to find an NVG mount that won't break the bank, ebay the prices soar on those.
Dragoondark
"/" divides unites smallest goes on the left to the highest designation on the right example: That unit is the Alpha Team (I know because of the open circle on top) / 1st squad/ 1st platoon/ Alpha Company/ 1st Battalion - 4th Regiment / 1st Brigade / 201st Mech Inf Division its a "-" instead of a "/" because Infantry is a regimentally affiliated branch. The cross and vertical line inside the box stand for mech info btw does that answer your question? Edited January 19, 2007 by Dragoondark

Milla
You know when your wearing goggles with the MICH, you need to loosen the helmet, so it sits high on your head anyway....damn goggles.

dolla billz
ooh it wasnt a joke??...what you mean by your question then? I'm alittle confused.
Tommygunn
You said it was a homemade IR flag but all the IR flags I know are made in a factory using chemicals and machines, so how is yours 'homemade'? Did you you make it out of a piece of paper with a black and green felt tip pen?
dolla billz
Ooh duh! of course thats what you meant. No, the it has no IR real properties but it looks the part though. I couldnt justify spending almost 20dollars on a real IR patch I have no real use for. What I did was found a picture of a regular red, white and blue flag on the internet cause i wasnt able to find a useable image of an actual IR flag . I then changed the size and recolored it in MSpaint and printed it on glossy photo paper. After some trial and error on correct size, stick some adhesive velcro to the back and voila...saved myself 20beans.
