Liquid_snake
lol probably should have mentioned that... yeah Im around 6ft 5/6 so finding tac. gear and BDU's for that matter is something of a hassle
RC-1138
lol probably should have mentioned that... yeah Im around 6ft 5/6 Â Â Might I suggest an IBA then? They extend lower on the body than most other plate carriers (almost covers the groin for me w/o the extra piece).
Liquid_snake
Ive owned one of the PASGT Vests before but the sheer weight of those kind of vests is nuts, not something I'd like to lug around all day!

....please don't remind me of basic training *shivers* anywho the IBA is a little longer and a replica doesnt weight nearly as much. I've had the Condor for a few years now and surprisingly it's lasted quite well and is nice to wear when I just want to through on a chest rig (I have no pouches mounted on the IBA). Liquid_snake
OK was tinckering with the vest today, and Ive managed to get it a bit lower which is excellent because it saves me money on buying a plate carrier... cheers for the help anyway RC-1138
RC-1138
Another idea for you could be to actually not tuck in your ACU's and, if you can, wear the belt outside your blouse (think old BDU pistol belt) and it should also look very nice.
PlasticMag
Yeah, keeping the top untucked is a good suggestion - we don't wear it like that, so to me it looks odd as hell to see people do it.

I've seen MP's out of Leonard Wood do tuck, as well as a few guys from Campbell the swore that's the air assault way, who knows if it's true though....
validtumoralarm
Here's a little kit I threw together for a weekend game down in San Diego. I'm the guy on the right. Â
Speed=
This is my best friend's loadout. What do you guys think? A lil rangeresque eh? Â
PlasticMag
Best Ranger loadout ever. I'm a fan! He's got the John Wayne going, with his unapproved t-shirt, and his awesomesauce MP5.
Speed=
don't forget the side mounted
RC-1138
He did throw esque on the end so that allows for some leeway no?
Liquid_snake
Guys, it aint tucked lol The height factor plays in to this yet again, theres literally about an inch of jacket after that...
rainbow5ive
Â Anyone have any idea as to what kind of ACU uniforms these guys have? The shirts and pants are totally not standard ACU cut blouses and trousers...The blouses have a bellowed pocket with split velcro on the sleeve, and the pants have a crye-type front thigh pocket. Those are the features i SEE. I don't know what others there are.
