Spedz
Not really seeming it's by Clarence Lai.
JustAnotherSofter
What the hell? Almost $3,000 for a pistol?!
Kov
Holy **** If anyone gets that pistol for airsoft, they should realy invest in something like the stockmarket instead. What a waste of cash.
El_Hombre
Alright, while I acknowledge that Clarence Lai is EXTREMELY skilled, I still cannot make sense of that price. That's just...insane.
AznDVL
From the pictures, it looks like the metal isnt very uniform/even... The chrome is really messy on the slide IMO. Ill stick with my WE Dragon for now...
Spedz
Bless. If I had the money I'd buy it. On a side note though El Hombre's right.....Unless its made out of stell like his M92 was.
Kov
Bless. If I had the money I'd buy it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think I am going to go hang myself, night.
Spedz
Note: Look at my edit ; ) and El Hombre's post. I do beleve now the Mr Lai is actually using his reputation that preceedes him to gain an extra few dollars.
Maruta
I'd rather save the money for something more important, like, I dunno, college, or my own house. Cheers.
sturgis
CL is good, but i dunno if 3000$ worth of good funny thing is, when you do pull it out, most people will think its a 100$ gun at first sight oh the ironing
Death By Cadbury
Id buy escort mp5s for my brother, dad, and best friend before Id buy one of those. I think the problem here is that there is essentially no information justifying the price. They say its been upgraded by CL (remember people, he's not a deity.) but they dont list what ANY of the actual upgrades are. Ooooooohhhh, 360 on red. My modded kj g27 does significantly more than that with propane, does that mean I can sell it for as much as a used car? AND Id agree with the people above who said a $3,000 pistol should have a better finish than that. this gun = naff
Glenn
I just saw that...Even CL can't polish a turd.
azz
Ha, it says you've got to pull back the hammer when putting a mag in so you dont bend the firing pin. That to me does not sound like a well designed custom gun.
Wege
meh.. I would not touch it...
snowman
For 3 grand, I'd HOPE it's not a WE. There's been a VERY expensive (Steel, I think) Dragon kit for a WA SVI for years, so I expect that's the basis of this gun. Interesting, though, how many of you can judge its value and quality just from a few photos If it IS a WE, though - Cheers. PS thought I should just make it clear, though, that I'd NEVER pay $3000 for anything airsoft!
n00b3r
Well Snowman, if you add up the price of all your pistols and such wouldn't it exceed at least twice that amount?
snowman
No, it wouldn't actually (I do keep track of what I've spent - Sad, eh ), although the value of all I've reviewed, undoubtedly, would. Few of the pistols I've reviewed stay in my collection long though, so the value at any time is WAY below that... Although, I REALLY meant I wouldn't spend that much on a single item. Oh, and RW have updated their description, it's NOT a WE. Cheers
Crazy_Harry
ah well- sad thing is that there ARE people in the world who'd spend that sort of money on a single airsoft pistol. its incredible but true... personally, if I had a spare three thousand dollars knocking about gathering dust, and I had no charitable bone in my body (or, heaven forbid, I made so much money that I could give significantly to good causes and STILL have three grand left over) I'd buy a couple of miniguns and be the terror of every airsoft game I played but on a pistol? even for a full steel, CL custom Western Arms? just spend it on a real gun! its not like its going a-skirmishing with you- not sure they even make a holster good enough to hold a three pony pistol
sadigh
It weighs 1,180 grams!
AngryTrucker
Wow out of stock already......
srider_uk
For that money might as well get the berreta seeing as it cheaper and it one of a kind so will probally gain in value
n00b3r
Not that anyone here really cares, but the most I've ever spend was on my WA Kimber: Gun, full metal kit, one of them glowing front sights, metal chamber, infinity trigger, a few real steel parts, and a pair of nice wood grips. Still under $1000, and probably made me feel better than having one of these around.
Brucken
Wow out of stock already...... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is a preorder, it will show it as in stock when they actually arrive.
n00b3r
It is a preorder, it will show it as in stock when they actually arrive. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "they"? You mean they made more than one?!? I thought it was going to be one of those Resident Evil Desert Eagle things, where Red Wolf got one and sold it 30 mins after it went up.
