first AI i bought to see what this raving is on about, had a quick flick through, pretty pictures... the review on the STAR G36 was a let down, but honest. it dissed the carry handle (which is ######) and they said that (not in the same words though)

but they didnt mention ANYthing about the internals of it.

ill read it properly on the plane on sunday.

A magazine with pictures of guns in it? You might have to hand that over to the captain for the flight :P

Wouldn't worry about it Guzzi. Everyone looks like a total 'tard when they're Airsofting. My face has been known to break camera lenses

A film crew turned up at a skirmish i went to, for some channel 4 (i think) documentry being shown this autumn. Didn't see the camera untill i was running back down the hill, snot and spit dripping from my face, panting like a chain smokerand tripping up. Strange what 5 seconds of gentle exercise does to you.

I've still not got around to buying the next AI - but i have been lending my old copies to non-softing friends. Great way to get people into the sport with all the glossy action pictures etc.

Norwich smiths actually have it in stock? was it the st. stevans one? As the other one told me I would have to pay a £10 deposit and order it in.

I was told that at my local WH Smith, I went to the local corner shop and they have got me a copy on regular order, without any £10 rip offs.

Hit your local news agent.

I went back to my local smiths (Hinckley) and they still didn't have it, even after enquiring. Like i said, i'm pretty sure i'm the only one who bought it. I don't really want to order it in every month as i'd rather like to pick and choose which months i buy.

I know from my time working in Smiths (Harborne, B'ham) a few mags don't sell -any- copies. They wouldn't drop it because of only selling one.

If it has been dropped it's not sales numbers, it's some other reason. Maybe the cover looks to, 'gunish' for them?

WH Smiths in Bromley had 3 copies when I went in the other day, I bought one for me and one for a mate despite it being a fairly poor excuse for a magazine.

I do think it should be given a chance and as has been pointed out before it is the only source of good publicity for our cause (apart from the appalling spelling :P )
