airsoftalex
Go for G&P ones, 3 cell 9v light at 120 lumens, or 3 3.7v cells at 11v around 200 lumens. I've just recieved a rechargable gp 11v model
101matt1
Hmmm... K thanks! I need to know, is the TM spets mag better for CQB then the regular? (note: I already got 2 star mid caps on the way...)
Belladonna
no, theres little difference with the shorter mag, i certainly dont see an advantage, or disadvantage. stick with what you like in that dept
Lanesracra
Capacitywise the spets mag falls short, but since you can get it for 25 dollars at www.MDairsoft.com, it's a good deal. Most other places charge around 35 though, and at that point the 600 round hi-cap is better for the extra 5-10 dollars.
101matt1
Yeah, the mags will be here tommorrow, and I will give a full report for anyone who wants one.

MistorPie
Hey, does anyone know where i can get one of those GIGN facemasks? Like this?
rageman
Check out ebay, i've seen loads on there. What i'd like to know is, i've seen GIGN 1/6 scale figures with P90's and assualt vests that carry thier mags. Just wondering if anyones ever seen a proper assualt vest for P90 mags.
Belladonna
they fit into blackhawk omega (rifleman version) vests (or the modular omega with p90/ump pouches on) also that helmet is a PASGT with PASGT Visor, just a hint but you will be required to use safety glasses under the visor too, as its not a secure eyeprotection as ricochets can still come up under it
elrey
Thread cleaned up, warning points issued. No further spam.

NickN
Um, no. NOT true. If you take a direct hit at close range your EO will DEFINATELY crack. Then you're out many bills. Cheap simple solution: trace the forward apeture of your optic and go to a plastics/plexiglass shop to get them to cut you a small clear piece to fit over the front. (Lexan preferably, but ¼ inch/6-7mm plastic will do) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wrong... I don't know about the cheapo replica that just came out, but a REAL EOTech is not stopped by something as trivial as a crack in the glass. If the crack in the glass interferes with the reticle, it will actually move the reticle to a place where there is no crack. And, through the wonders of holographics, it will still be perfectly on target! Refer to the image below - On the left is mud, the center is ice, and the right is a crack. Jagdraben
But the EoTech is still cracked and you're still out many bills.
thatguy
Yup. It will function for a time, but it will still be broken. Pretty expensive and easily-avoidable mistake to make, me thinks.
NickN
I don't understand your logic. It would still work with a crack in it. You would not have to buy a new one. You would not be out any money because you would not have to buy a replacement.
tmas
But its a crack and a crack is much more likely to break more easily then a solid full piece. And who wants to around with a cracked EOtech anyway?
101matt1
What is the most expensive RDS you've ever seen?
Lithium Jack
Do they get more expensive than the Trijicon ACOG?
Lanesracra
ACOGs are scopes, not RDS's.
Lithium Jack
"Red dot sights use refractive or reflective optics to generate a collimated image of a luminous or reflective reticle. This collimated image appears to be projected out to a point at infinity, which makes the image of the reticle appear to the user to be projected onto the target." That's what the ACOG does, isn't it?
Lanesracra
My bad! I was under the impression ACOGs were just reticle scopes, not RDS's too. Sorry!
NickN
ACOGs aren't red dot sights...
Jagdraben
They might be RDS, but they are not reflex sights. That is to say, they have an illuminated reticle and a telescopic lens. I have a friend who dislikes illuminated sights, although he can understand illuminated reflex sights much more easily than illuminated telescopic sights.
