Omaha
Can anyone answer me? I have more than 50 posts, yet still can not give anyone reputation points. I mean it really doesn't hold sway over me, just want to know what is going down here. Any help or answer is appreciated.
Arnie
The rep system should be back online, I just adjusted the site code today on the first day I had the opportunity to do so. Omaha: Can you not see the little plus/minus signs against a user's name next to "reputation:" ?
Omaha
Oh...on the bar. No one ever said to look there. Wow.. Well thanks.

Arnie
I've not changed anything other than reinstating what was there before I added the security upgrade from IPB. I am tempted to reduce the system solely down to sales feedback though.
gazchap
One thing i've just noticed - on users who have no reputation points at all (i.e. it displays "none") the bar shows a completely filled red bit but an empty green bit. I don't know if it does this on people who have reputation points that balance out to 0 though.
Kosac
I think limiting it to sales feedback wouldn't nesacarily be a bad thing

That's because the default value for that row value in the SQL is null, not '0'.. so it doesn't quite display right until it's adjusted by either -1 or +1. It's a minor issue that I'll get around to fixing at some point (just need to change the sql/code defaults)

NoGoodNick
Limiting the reputation to sales is a fantastic idea. The amount of abuse the system had in the past was beyond belief, and i think it gave some more "frequent" forum members an over-rated reputation.
joeking27
I got my first retaliation point after it came back. YAY!
NoGoodNick
I rest my case...
futbolpunk
I am VERY happy to see the repuation system working again. This is one of the major things that sets these forums a big step above the rest. *thumbs up*
DrewLawson
Oh please kill the rep system
Starkey J
Oh please kill the rep system <{POST_SNAPBACK}> just because you get - rep for being an idiot?
Catchv22
I think this should be limited to sales forums only. Everything else only leads to retaliatory and popularity points. It honestly does not help the forum much at all.
