Recommended Posts

Was browsing airsoft-news, when it hought i'd take a look at one of the websites, and i stumbled upon this:

http://tinyurl.com/2266w2

Now, im not sure what it does, but my guess would be that it somehow makes smoke come out of the end of the silencer, for added realism and stuff. sounds quite awesome, and i'll probably en up getting one to try...

I hope it doesnt use something like baby powder to create a smoke effect, because that would be a pain to clean out of your inner barrel. I highly doubt that it would be actual smoke, as that could be some type of fire hazard.

the only thing that is retarded is the baby powder like coating on the suppressor after FA. Now if they only made something that looked like a muzzle flash, i'd be all over it (and no a TM tracer unit is not a reasonable substitute for a muzzle flash)...

It may be that Tanio Koba VFC conversion kit that was announced a while back, but I don't know, none of the vids are working. I just get a big page of encoded text if I try to open it, and WMP won't play it. Any idea what I'm doing wrong, or is it my computer?

The Armed Forces AKS74U is a VFC converted with Escort internals, gas in mags.

And this silencer is retarded. I can make one easily and cheaply:

1) Get silencer.

2) Get AEG.

3) Fill silencer with baby powder.

4) Shoot.

Real guns don't have muzzleflashes, except at night, and the muzzle flash is suppressed with a sound suppressor. The baby powder coating on the suppressor actually makes it look realistic--If you look at a suppressor after alot of rounds have been through it, it looks like it's been dipped in liquid nitrogen.

As above.

It's not meant to represent flash it's meant to represent smoke, no one gives a monkeys if you open it up and the baby powder looks like burnt propellant residue. You've taken it all out of context.

It depends on lighting conditions and the quality of the camera thats used to record the firing of the gun. Just because your eyes didn't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I'm not even going to bother posting youtube links to vids with muzzle flash visible during the day time.

Technically, it could be. Wiki groups muzzleflashes into three parts.

you've already made a ridiculous claim that guns don't have muzzle flashes

Don't quite see how it's ridiculous, given I've fired real guns, and haven't seen muzzleflashes when I fired them.
