Rufs
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=25798 Just hope that the stock hinge pin is compatible with RS stocks.

Bareknuckle
Hop-Up NONE woah what a perfect gun Wait, what? Dang, you're right, it does say that! I hope that's not true.
Chris North
Considering they list the motor, battery size, and shooting mode as "NA," I think we can assume (or hope) that they just aren't sure about what kind of hop it will be and just put "none" instead of "N/A" and to err on the side of caution. Fighting Maus
Im sure that it has hop up. Their other AK offerings have it. My guess is that these are all typos on redwolfs part. I did check RS website and there is nothing about a hopup, but I would be surprised if they expect someone to shell out 300.00 + shipping for a gun without hopup. On a side note- we all know the RS SVD doesnt have a working bolt, but Redwolf lists it as having blowback.
Royal-Air-Force
Sooo.... as far as we know its a $300 springer with no hop? [/confused]
X Lupin
Well, hard to fit in a hopup or gearbox when you have to chamber a 73.62mm round.
DarkLite
The 73.62mm round is part of the PLA's new all-in-one system. One weapon for all roles, anti-infantry, anti-materiel, anti-tank and anti-aircraft.
PlasticMag
Good lord. Of course it's an AEG with hopup... *sigh*
bankz5152
That is an ugly rifle, i dont like the stock
DesertFoxRomel
I'm guessing they either used a proprietary gearbox similar to the MP40 or P90, *wouldn't be too hard to shove that in a AK, the receiver is huge*, or they used an ultra narrow motor.
Reborn
Looks like a faithful replica of the Chinese assault rifle. Judging from RealSword's past offerings, this one is going to be excellent right out of the box. One small flaw, though. If only the selector switch markings are in original Chinese instead of "D" or "L".
bluntshooter
it (hop up) has been fixed, thank you for pointing it out. regards, Redwolf

darkest2000
One small flaw, though. If only the selector switch markings are in original Chinese instead of "D" or "L". The "L" and "D" markings are correct. The Chinese switched from the chinese characters to the roman alphabets to accomodate all their export sales. L is short for the Chinese Pinyin "LIAN" which means continuous (full auto) D is short for the chinese Pinyin "DAN" which means Single (Single shot) It's kind of stupid since the abbreviations are meaningless to non-chinese speakers. RedWolf
Sorry everybody about the typos and confusing information posted about the SVD and Type 56-2. They do NOT have blowback of course, and has adjustable hop-up. Power is in the 400fps range give or take, and RS will notify us of the battery size shortly. We typically don't specify the motor type unless the gun is a Marui AEG and then we'll specify if it is an EG700 or EG1000. Sorry for any confusion caused!

my_plague_666
it'll most likely be a special motor. they adapted the V3 to fit in a real spec reciever remember? i doubt a modified motor/motor cage would be beyond RS.
Bareknuckle
It's cool to see Realsword upgrading the FPS on their guns out of the box. The old ones only shot about 290, and it's a shame to have to open up such a nice gearbox just to put a new spring in.
