V is the export designation - doesn't apply for airsoft. The original K length foregrip is 295mm. C is 214. Afraid I don't know the length of the newer k foregrip but its pretty similar

Ollie_TY says that the ACM optic is better then the h&k. Because airsofters play airsoft, which means that if you have a sniper rifle shooting 70m with a 30m minimum engagement, there is a fair chance the rifle is actually shooting something like 55 meters and you're shooting at people 20m away! -

Investigating how I can import RIF without UKARA & being acquainted with Bubba. So far: Ring HMRC, told to ring Border FORCE (BF). BFhas no number on website. Ring Home Office - given number to BF. Ring BF, turns out its immigration and visas. Given number to BF (2nd time). Ring BF, go through to BF immigration. Given number for BF customs. Ring that, get to HMRC. HMRC give me number for BF customs Heathrow. This time I gave them my number and they said they will ring. We will see...

Maybe speak to your local airsoft site owner/runner and ask him to confirm your status? Put his contact number on the parcel and hmrc/bf will ring him/her to confirm defence.

Yeah that is the rough plan. I don't have a "home site" as it were but I've skirmished at different places the last bunch of times. My plan is to enclose a document with the sites' buinesses names, address contact and insurance numbers but I want to be sure before I actually import.

That's the best way. It's not worth a prison sentence. Oddly, my old ukara number has been checked by customs, grand total of three times, even though it wasn't on the parcel. Kind of freaked me out to be honest. Going to get a new ukara as it's just easier (and a site is near me that does ukara).

Cheers for this and concur for sticky status. I thought I'd put my money where my mouth is an import a RIF without UKARA with the intention of making a how to for others (if anybody knows of one that exists, please let me know!) -

sounds a bit stupid for the reasons outlined above.. I'd be inclined to get the LCT RPK74 and a Daytona system. Not sure exactly how the two would compare in cost but I reckon that LCT+DG+Reg+mags would be pretty similar to the ghk, mags and external parts
