Oh dear, I'm definitely not skirmishing anywhere that's got more sand than that site. Poor MEU.. no GBB should make a sound that crunchy when you cock it... :s

She's close, doesn't quite have the chin for it though I don't think.
Going back to the original point, I need to clean out the BB channels my TM 1911 mags. Don't have the pin punches here to take off the top parts but I do have allen keys, anyone know what'll happen if I just remove the bottom plates? Not gonna ruin them is it?

Not at all, just make sure to watch you don't take a spring to the face as you slide the bottom plate out. The valve at the bottom has a special channel it is in so you can't knock it around by accident.
