Actually, now you've got me thinking - how much (little) space is there in the narrow handguards? The smallest nunchuck LiPos I've found are 6x20x125mm and 7x16x118mm per side.

Every time I see an MP5 with the narrow handguards, I'm reminded why I like MP5s with the narrow handguards. Shame that you can't really fit even a LiPo in there, as I've always been used to the sliding stocks.

Can't know for sure without fitting both, of course, but judging from the pictures on this and this product page, it looks like they are.

Impressive. Must say I lol'd at the pistol stabbed into the table as well. (Or at least, that's how it looks like it's held up?) Also, out of curiosity, is blue tape around the bottom of RPK-74 mags a thing in the Russian (or whoever) military? That's the second time I've seen it now.

Ultimately up to you, of course, but I have to agree with the previous two - it looks pretty sextastic as-is, really. I actually quite like the forward-mounted Aimpoint, not something you see often.

Photobucket's been doing that for a while now, if I remember right. Really thinking about just putting images on imgur or flickr as every few months Photobucket seems like it's gotten slower and generally less useful. A bit of a shame, as I've been using the same account for nearly 9 years now.

TAG makes their own insert specifically made for the Banshee and it indeed only holds two. (Get it from somewhere else if you can, of course; that price is a bit absurd.) I feel like it'd be possible to fit a little bit more, like a pistol mag or something, but that's just speculation - someone who actually owns one will probably know.

How do you like those pull tabs? I've never really liked bungee retention as it's always felt sort of...inconsistent to me, but those look intriguing. (And they're cheap as dirt; relative to everything else S&S makes, that is.)

Nice! I like the optic zoom throw lever. Can't remember who makes them off the top of my head, but you're the first airsofter I've seen to use one.

I don't suppose you're too keen on using the mount backwards on the forearm? Apart from that, FWIW, I've used one of these in the past. Not spectacular, but for the price, pretty decent really. Eye relief is, like OpticsPlanet says, right around 3"/7,5cm - not sure how that compares to your current one, though I remember at the time it seemed a bit short compared to a lot of Short Dot-styled optics.

Looking good, NonEx. Are those magazines stock (besides the warning label)? Would be the first airsoft Glock mags I've personally seen that actually look like proper polymer rather than simple painted metal.

I've no experience with the CA personally (only a Cyma), but IIRC isn't it a clone of the G&G? I'd imagine G&G-pattern stocks are incompatible, given the differences in at least the gearbox and mag.

Alright, it looks like I'll be doing that soon. Fortunately it seems that KJW parts are pretty cheap. In the meantime, I've looked at what went wrong for future reference- on part #12 (the main safety component), the rod that runs through the frame snapped clean in half where it's notched for part #65 (a small coil spring) to secure it.

hawaiianjuggernaut: If that's the same Condor hydro pouch I have, I find that it seems to sag no matter what I put in it, including nothing. Before buying a stiffer hydro pouch for my second PC I used to rig it so that it rode 1-3 MOLLE straps higher than the top of the plate carrier's back. May help, may not; I've no experience running an air tank specifically.

LBT's MAS gray is a bit green-tinged, yeah. More so on smaller bits like webbing/elastic and buckles than the bulk of the material proper.

Slight inaccuracies aside, that's still one gorgeous carbine. I really do love the looks of those old-school long Aimpoints on carry handles.
