  1. Does anyone know a source for aluminum parts that are anodized red, for instance, magwell, trigger, etc, for the TM Hi-Capa?
  2. After a while, they all start looking about the same, but I love that SpecterDR. Noveske, you should invest in a real one.

    M14 Picture Thread

Just my opinion, but, for aesthetics, I think an EO553 would look better on that one.
  4. Why would you say that? Could be WAM4s, the one with the POF upper may have had that upper modified for airsoft use. King Arms makes a SW M&P lower. The SW on the bottom does look pretty convincing because of the M&P stamp on the Samson rail. I think you'd only find that on prebuilt SW ARs. Who knows.
  5. Nice guns dude but please try to turn down the contrast and make the white balance a little warmer in future photos. Some added contrast can make things stand out. Too much creates a burning sensation in the eye.
  6. While this may not be very accurate in terms of "spec ops," I would simply like to know if there is a helmet net for the MICH. For attaching foliage and such. uscmCorps: What model Sordin is that? How does it interface with your radio?

    $1K club.

It's the M4 "FSP" model that has a cutout for the front sight post. The tube is 12", so traditionally it would be considered a rifle length tube. Noveske: Your collection is absolutely beastly.

Repost from GGI, but this definitely qualifies.
  9. So, the general consensus on these "Gen 2" units is that they work out of the box?
  10. OK, but I find that hard to believe. Bushy LE rifles are made of 7075 aluminum and type 3 hard anodized. Maybe the VFC is anodized, but most definitely not type 3 and they are most definitely not made of 7000-series aluminum.
  11. The only HK in my modest collection is this KSC USP .45. These photos would've looked better a few stops down, but unfortunately I didn't have a tripod.
  12. Some better pictures of the current arrangement.
  13. I think it'd fit better with a steel outer barrel.
  14. Is that a real RIS II? Did you have problems with barrel nut and locking plate spacing? I had to turn down the barrel nut about 2mm and shim the back with an oring, is it a drop in fit on the KJW?
  15. Looks like they photocopied the manual as well.
  16. Had the camera out anyway: Click for larger photo
  17. Bane, I'm really not sure what you're talking about. The "rib" is excess material left from the original aluminum forging (here is a picture of an 80% lower with such a feature) which is normally removed during final machining (i.e. to make it a 100% lower). This removal is performed on practically every single lower receiver manufactured today, including the ones being sold to the government. Inokatsu, for whatever reason, decided to forgo this step. I can understand some people not minding the seam, but to claim that "its supposed to be there" is stretch.
  18. I also noticed this. I mean the rest of it looks quite nice, but why they would ignore such a glaring imperfection is beyond me. Otherwise, I hope it shoots great! After all, that's what's most important.
  19. Really? Bomber uses Prime receivers? Considering retail price for Prime kits alone is ~$500, Bomber sounds like a deal.
  20. Understatement of the century.
  21. DYTAC STANDALONE UPPERS! CNC'd ALU!!1 I am now jealous of you WEM4 folk. Why can't WAM4 get standalone uppers?
  22. I think it's just a matter of personal preference, it has very little to do with what actual servicemen feel. Maybe it really doesn't matter during an airsoft skirmish, I just don't feel wearing rank when you didn't put time into earning it is appropriate. Something like, you shouldn't falsely advertise degrees you don't have on resumes. Not wearing a rank also makes you feel less like a child for playing soldier. That's just my opinion.
  23. Why so many morale patches? Seriously does look like flair from Office Space.
