  1. Can anyone go in depth on the stock mounting system? I was wondering what kind of aftermarket stocks can be mounted on it, seeing as milled and stamped receivers have a different stock attachment.
  2. The stock TM AK body does flex, though it does not creak annoyingly like MP5s and G3s. I think the flex in the TM AKs are negligible and the front sight falling off is more what you have to worry about.
  3. Nice M4 TMC. Not too much clutter on it though it seems kind of 'top heavy' with the monstrously flat PEQ and EOTech.
  4. It's more for reenactment than having the best of the best. A better example would be if you choose an old Pacman Arcade Machine over your 4ghz tower.
  5. Anyone else think that Kurt's face looks kinda like Ben Stillers?

    M1a Scout

    Very nice piece there.
  7. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v247/Alv...illDeathDW3.png What's the top right most pistol?
  8. That M79 stock looks a bit strange. Where's it from? I know you have a lot to do with movie props.
  9. For AKs, most rails are mounted on the top handguard or over the upper receiver cover via a sidemount bolted to the side of the receiver.
  10. Well you could say by putting the buyer in the guinea pig, then sending the parts to rectify the problem for free, they are getting things done faster, although in a different way. They have come out with 2 completely new AEGs, one of which used an entire gearbox and they are relatively new in the market. Not saying it's the best idea, but it's certainly another approach to it. Look at CA. They've been in the business for years and years and only relatively recently have they gotten their act 'together'. They still produce quite a few lemons and most of their designs are borrowed from exi
  11. Is the V10 actually shorter than the Wilson Combat? It looks that way from the length the slide protrudes past the frame.
  12. That's a Glock 19 with an M3 replica? Last time I saw one, the structure of it stuck past the rail frame, so it kind of struck me as odd.
  13. I think that's a Bushnell without the EOTech steel cover.
  14. Looks nice. I prefer lights mounted on the trigger guard rather than rails personally. Keeps the lines relatively smooth when the light is both on and off, though the clamp on that one is a bit more obtrusive, than on some other pistols. Does the lower light fit on the P226 as that seems a lot more streamlined. I remember those models for the M1911 cost a bundle though, but you've got two full metal P226s so I guess that's not too much of an issue for you eh?
  15. A holographic site uses a laser projected through a hologram to create a reticule rather than a plain dot. I believe the ACOG sights with the reticules rather than the dots use this too.
  16. Well it's not like your airsoft guns are that accurate anyway. I wish someone would just make a simple red dot version for this for airsoft. Heck, even the Guarder ACOG Red Dots use some sort of holographic reticule system don't they?
  17. Phoenix, some people do a little 'reenacting' type thing. So while having a PEQ Battery and a flash light would be kind of pointless, it's what a real soldier would attach and use to his weapon and thus is replicated on the airsoft version. Even if they are doing it 'just for looks' well, let them enjoy their game and not let them ###### you off.
  18. Great review. I really like how you were relatively unbiased with it and pointed out the pros and cons as they came.

Car15 refers to a Carbine version of the M16. There was no official designation until the M4 (non A1) was adopted and most people referred to the carbines as CAR15s or their Colt model number (M727, M733, etc.).
  20. Did you have to double post quote so many pictures just to give your two measily cents?
  21. I don't really have much of a problem with the eye relief. I find that if you're wearing a thick paintball mask pressing the ACOG against the lens will get you the perfect cheek weld.
