Kerbdog
Kerb, that looks really really good! Did you use an airbrush on the stencils or just spraypaint? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thankyou, i just used plain old Krylon spray cans to acheive the effect, it was quite simple to do, the hardest part being the cutting out of the stencils really. A decent printer and some photographic paper plus a little time on photoshop and it would be possible to make digitised stencils etc so marpat/cadpat patterns could be made also. The photographic paper makes a decent stiff less absobant stencil too. I love it Maby because, iam a danish soldier, and have danish m84 on, every day. I wish my captajn would let me paint my c7a1 like that <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Coming from a member of the Armed forces that is praise indeed. Thankyou!
Harry
Today, me and my friend, we spent a nice day in the shop Part of our today work was to paint M249 Minimi (3 colors desert) and M82A1 Barret (our Czech vz.95 camo - 4 colors forest). The whole begginning with M249 2 colors Final version (note the Elcan scope in the bottom of the picture. The scope is without the rubber cover) M82A1 and one mag in basic green color. This "Old man" is my buddy, not me (in the fact, he is not too much older than me ) 2 colors. Notice the vz.95 jacket at the background - this is the pattern we want to get... 3 colors Final version Harry URNA
pfcstoner
My M733 in it's current state. I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Cheers! - CapaciousZepher <{POST_SNAPBACK}> where do you fit your battery? also where can you find a rail system that fits a TM M733?
BoB SoiL
I'm guessing the battery is the bright green thing just above the rail cover in the 3rd pic down? (I think so anyways ... )
pfcstoner
i dont think a battery would fit there?

BoB SoiL
i dont think a battery would fit there? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Neither do I, but I can't think of anything else that'd be bright green that someone would put in their RIS foregrip
Lithium Jack
maybe it's a pack of sour skittles.
newbkiller
wow, that's interesting, if that is a battery. how did you do that, if it's not, where is the battery?
pfcstoner
where can i buy RIS that will fit the m733 gun?? where also can i buy a metal body that has a removable carry handle for this gun? does it just use any m4 body or does it need to be the specific m733 body and ris unit???
TheKurodaVagrant
You can use any M4A1 metal body for the M733. For the RIS, you need to get G&P's pre-assembled M733 RIS front set. M4 and M733 barrels are compatible, but the foregrips are slightly different lengths so RIS systems will not fit on the stock Marui outer barrel.
pfcstoner
ok kool, i thought you can only buy the M733 metal body because they make the specific M733 one. so ill just get an m4 body, they are also much cheaper.
TheKurodaVagrant
The only M733-specific thing about it is the trademarks. Everything else on it is a basic M16A2 body.
newbkiller
when you get the metal body, can I buy your plastic m733 body?

We were just trying to get the vz.95 pattern. Me and my buddy, we have small custom job shop. We do all kind of work, plastic stocks and grips and handguard for our SA vz.58 (military testing on the pic) custom jobs on pistol grips or rifle stocks, custom paint etc... CapaciousZepher
In answer to the battery question, yes, I carry my battery in the RIS (but sour skittles was a good guess). It's a mosq. molds RIS, so it's designed to hold a mini battery in the upper part. Also my experience has been that an M4 RIS, which uses the delta ring etc., in other words not attached to the receiver and free floating, will not fit without modification on a M733. On mine I had to insert a rubber spacer between the front site and ring. Otherwise the RIS was too short to fit tightly. This is because the M733 handguards are just slightly longer than standard M4 guards. Anyway hope some of that helps. Oh and brilliant work Harry.
