I've been looking at a Lindnerhof chestrig like that (would go great with my new Mehler-SK), but is it really supposed to be worn that low?

Most pics I've seen of greenside KSK and Färnspah kits has shown them to be wearing their vests and rigs hanging low (and loose?), and while I don't like to have my gear hanging like that myself, I suppose there's a reason for it...

The chest-Rig is automatically worn low, if you're using a bib. There's no other chance, due to the construction, even if the straps are at a minimum.

I prefer it this way, because it's more comfortable if you're going prone.

Myself in between scenarios during a weekend game. Normally I wear a face mask along with the goggles. Except the for the shirt, trousers and chestrig are locally sourced as German BDUs and rigs are hard to find and quite pricey when ordering overseas.
