TheFull9
The internals already are. But it's ACM tin foil, not even decent stuff.
tinydata
"Dear Sir/Madam, Around December mayeb early, please check for the latest detail on our website www.aresairsoft.com . Those items are spring version not electric, thank you. Best Regards, Beckie Marketing FGI Ltd., FGHK Ltd. www.aresairsoft.com" I really hope the CS rep just couldn't speak English... ninja master of coffee
Suddenly I see why people hate Ares so much.... just, why springers? I imagine they're also horrifically over priced to boot.
ED-SKaR
Why is it all the guns i like and want come from companies that are the worst for skirmishing, why, why must it always happen. 'FireKnife' Don't say that too loud or WE will bring out a webley. Suddenly I see why people hate Ares so much.... just, why springers? I imagine they're also horrifically over priced to boot. If you are talking about the bolt action rifles, spring is so very much better than gas. You get FPS consistancy where you don't with gas, you get all weather ability and you don't have to worry about your expensive magazines leaking all the time. Oh, nevermind, the carbine and garand should be AEGs.
faramon
Hahaha Ed +1, lol Spring is good for bolt actions but I don't like the idea of a bolt action Garand ... it makes Veteran Kittens cry. I could see Marushin doing a Webley ..... shells are manly but impractical ... but you'd still get one right?
Retro-Cow
Seriously? Is it really that much to ask for a company to throw a damn V7 into an M1 Garand??
ninja master of coffee
Apparently so... anyone got dimensions for the M1 carbine and V7 mechbox? Frankly if the springer M1 carbine isn't silly expensive and you can fit a mechbox in it, it's a viable option. I suspect it's too small a gun though. Still having a massive FACE/PALM over this... ED-SKaR
but you'd still get one right? I'd buy one, but I'd struggle to pay for it.
ninja master of coffee
I just had a thought on the M1 carbine and Garand, given that Ares have gone and bought Zeta Labs, there's a chance they're both actually Zeta labs creations, so probably beutifully accurate but expensive, springer wall hangers... shame. On the other hand I've seen pictures of a classic army M2 carbine... I'd imagine this is an AEG, no clue on release date but provided it's not just some cruel joke I know what I'm saving for... http://i56.tinypic.com/2hwze5y.jpg I'm still overcome by a massive feeling of WTFness at Ares though.
