PureSilver
Gotta love the fact they did it with unsold B.O. Manufacturing's hideously overpriced "gothic serpent". €390?! What's the donor gun?
Skarclaw
gothic serpant 1911 would have made sense in 05 but nowadays people want whatever was used to slay that American sniper bloke at the firing range. c'mon WE.
hitmanNo2
€390? Ah ha ha ha. Has anyone found any marbles? Black Ops have clearly lost a few.
ShinSeiki
€390? Ah ha ha ha. Has anyone found any marbles? Black Ops have clearly lost a few. When they came out they were priced at €599, made me laugh for days...
blobface
But it has "Special forces stippling"...
Brigg
Yeah, Stippling adds at least a few hundred to value, right? Oh, and they say 14 round capacity so that would make it a WE 1911 donor gun. Classy.
BigAl
The clue was the Video of the WE Double gun using the Serpent slide, hence why it was being discussed her. Also q 1911 is 7+1 in standard form though there are many 8 round mags available as well.
TheFull9
Someone actually makes this.. and it's WE... I dunno, maybe they'll have upped their quality, used better materials etc and it'll actually work for more than 5 rounds (unlike most of their other 1911s) but I'm sceptical at this point if truth be told. If I actually had the option of hanging it on a wall, I'd consider it even if it does turn out to be junk. Are their normal 1911s TM compatible? Maybe the guts of this might be too (partially anyway)?
BigAl
No sadly not TM compatible as there's was out first. Best thing they could do would be redesign it to TM Spec. Sorry second best, best would be improve the Browning and bring out modern versions.
renegadecow
It's TM compatible but not to a 1911. The guts are instead Hi-Capa spec with the mag and catch being completely their own.
DarkLite
ANYHOW Back to the original post, the GP1799 pistols are out and are glocks with new dressings. Take glock 17 magazines and you can literally drop a G17 upper on it and it'll work. I'd be tempted to pick one up if you could swap the barrel out for a G17 one in a non offensive colour like black. Hopefully WE are still going to make a proper P99. It would sell very, very well.
Feyd
I want a proper P99, but based on their new custom/force blowback systems, the 1799 just isn't as snappy as they are :-(
