My new toy, as of right now its stock other than my G&G SS100 Suppressor, which really seems to make it louder instead of quieter even with the little foam doughnuts in it..

Whitefeather, do you prep your guns. sand them down? do you put anything over the krylon to protect it? and ho w many coats

it does not take much.

I use a coat of OD to start then layer khaki and brown till it looks good, if you mess up, throw a couple more lines of OD in.

I wipe them down for dust that collects in spots. Other then that i dont do anything to them. Id never sand down a rifle just to paint it. The krylon paints adhere to almost anything very well.

Misfit: Personaly I think the Tac Carbine looks off balance with the solid stock, and if your in woodland most of the time the extra barrell length could possibly give that little bit extra in the accuracy department (that being you are a relatively good shot), with the Rifle I do not use a sling, I just do not see the need for one, since its not overly heavy, and with the long foregrip you can position your front hand anywhere and get a really comfortable position on it. Drop a 9.6v battery in there and your ROF will be huge, so either stock up on a few hi caps/midcaps/low caps to keep you going, as many first timers are quite trigger happy, all I would say is just watch the HOP, it can unwind itself during the course of firing in semi and full auto, just use a bit of blue tac to hold it in place till you get round to replacing it.
