Lerch
Anybody got an STAR L85A2 that they wanna turn into a Carbine? Or maybe even just a heatshield left around? Damn things never turn up alone!
Grim
I have the internal heat shield liying around from my A2 handguard that i converted to fit my STAR A2 carbine or are you after the LSW handguard heat shield? Besides with the heat shields installed there is no room for the batteries, hense why i removed mine. Grim

darkchild130
Me, too! since the temperate UBACS came out its all i have been wearing. I will post some pics of my Mp5 loadout when i next get to a game. Darkchild
kie
Darkchild i cried a little when i saw he temperate UBACS. i like the look of those new blackhawk DDPM plate carriers also. DPM ALL THE WAY
darkchild130
wait til you get hold of the new temperate DPM ACU cut trousers and shirt that should be coming online this year. Im getting mine issued next month, i cant wait! (being spearhead Btn has its privileges) Darkchild
kie
you have good taste, i think i shall be investing in some myself. Also would i be right to say that the Army will be issuing them if so will be a very happy chappy. k (with a sense of British pride greater than ever)
darkchild130
well my unit is getting them this year but thats mainly because we are part of spearhead and as such have gone up in the priority list for kit issue. The rest of the infantry will probably end up getting them next year. I wouldnt be surprised if units in Iraq/Afghan already have them in desert variety. Darkchild
kie
Desert DPM is understandable under the current circumstances, but temperate... the army has certainly revamped allot of its gear. Enjoy your new gear anyway I'm sure you will make allot of people jealous. k
darkchild130
yeah, dont ask me why but the first production run of new stuff is nearly always made in temperate, even though we are fighting 2 wars in the desert! Army logic sucks. I guess the material is more plentiful or something. Darkchild
kie
i doubt anyone truly understands Army logic, but i wont complain means snazzy new temperate DPM kit for airsofters who see less sand. goodnight mate k Edited March 22, 2008 by kie
