Donut
Well, you could still use those guns to shoot out the guard's radios or disable them (the guards, arms or legs)...
Lithium Jack
Lol, I'd rather shoot them with the Hushpuppy Shooting their arms or legs would give me a Caution, and there's no need to shoot out the radios, as I don't tend to get Cautions (That is, I just swear and restart when I do )
phoenix360mute
i didnt know leeches counted to the severe damage count
WeirdoTransvestite
i didnt know leeches counted to the severe damage count <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I actually ran around for an hour and a half with leeches on. I kept wondering why my stamina dropped so fast. Almost ran out of food.
Lithium Jack
i didnt know leeches counted to the severe damage count <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Anything that requires the Cure menu, counts towards serious injuries AFAIK. Edit: Lol, stamina is basically useless unless you're using Spider camo anyway
phoenix360mute
no its not, the growlings from snakes stomach actually give away his possition
Lithium Jack
Ooh, forgot about that... It's never happened to me, despite the time I spend using the spider camo I always stock up on Golovas and False mangos though, they're awesome. Metal Gear Solid 3: Fruit Eater. Fuser
I find that at the rate I play my stamina almost never moves, and when i capture or get fruit, by the time i need it it's usually rotten. Thats why i always tranquilize a snake and keep it with me. Always stays fresh,a dn it can be used as a weapon . NOTE: If you've never thrown a live snake at a guard, you're missing out on one of the games best parts.
Donut
Instant noodle FTW!!! Otherwise live snakes are good too.
phoenix360mute
erm, no, calorie mate am bestes food
Lithium Jack
Yeah. They keep for ever and you only need about 2 of them to keep you going for the entire game. Really really useful to stock up on. And Jack Bauer uses them too. Wish he'd chosen the real man's food though: Hive of Pain Hornet's Nest
minnoq
NOTE: If you've never thrown a live snake at a guard, you're missing out on one of the games best parts. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Correction: If you've never thrown a poisonous snake at a guard, you're missing out on one of the games best parts. phoenix360mute
no no no, its all about throwing those snakes at the flamethrower people, much more fun
Lithium Jack
The flamethrower people are scary beasts! I don't even like to go near them. Seriously, they're a lot harder than the Fury, I'd rather fight him than have to tank my way through a load of those satan-men.
Donut
Right, and it's even harder when you can't kill them... otherwise it's fun to shoot thier fuel tanks.
Lithium Jack
Yeah, I find that area is the second hardest stealth bit of the game, when you're going up it. It's so damn big, and there are about a billion levels. It's a stealth nightmare, but the second time it's a little easier You can walk right past all the guards.

Bad on the way down, however, with those fire demons in gas masks... BTW, thought I'd add this...does anyone play MGS3 Online? My moniker is Hemingway if anyone wants to play. Too bad, I cant serve. Usually on Snake, or whatever's fullest. TDM.
Sledge
SVD? Didn't you mean to say "suppressed XM177"?
Fuser
SVD? Didn't you mean to say "suppressed XM177"? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sometimes I like to take time with my kills...
Donut
It wasn't the xm177... it was the XM16E1 with made up selector grouping... I've never seen/heard of an AR with semi, burst, and auto selections. SVD is good, but I find the mosin nagant to be more fun Though when SHTF there's always the trusty Patriot (AK if you haven't beat it once)
phoenix360mute
anyone know how to make the xm16e1 like the one in the game?
Lanesracra
I've never seen/heard of an AR with semi, burst, and auto selections. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> G36
Donut
AR... as in Armalite or M16's... not "Assault Rifle" I know HK has them, MP5J's and some other trigger groupings.
Lithium Jack
You mean the mountain? Not bad on the way up, if you have an SVD. Mk22 and a pair of binoculars. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_Commando Check the Colt model 605B . It seems to be the closest thing to the XM16E1 from the game, as it has the S-1-F-3 selector group, and the triangular style grip...
357.sig
does anybody know what webbing the gurlukovich solidiers use in MGS2?
