WE M9 & M9A1 re-launched (new versions)

Looks like WE's promise of re-vamping their old pistol line up has started. I recall James saying the M9 series would be first out in an interview a while back.

Looks like they are doing M9 and M9A1 in silver and black.

Seems to have semi, full auto and functional de-cocker. I would of loved it even more without the full auto, but whatever.

Dummy firing pin, no threaded barrel muzzle etc. etc.

I have been holding out for a decent replacement for my KJW M9A1, while it looks and functions alright, it's a little too crude for my taste. Will moste likely pick up an M9 and M9A1 from WE and slap on some RS or Guarder grips to make em look a little better.

I think these look pretty nice. I guess them hiring a professional product photographer works in their favour, but anyways, check them out;

Is this a clone of the TM M9A1 internals?

Looks very nice and tempting. But given that WE 'new' guns (M&P, P226, Glock) all have issues unfixed or not fixed until recently, and the lack to access to spare parts for customers outside Asia, I rather would wait a year or two... at least for people who like to play with their guns.

In the other hand, this means we can expect a HK3P release with full trademarks :)

Would be interesting to see how this goes for WE given that I found their older M9s to be the worst of their output and the only design that I haven't seen last 6 months or more.

If they can get down a cloned metal TM design M9 without the rail and it works well enough as a holster stuffer then It would be good to see :).

However if they continue their trend of making compacts for the larger models I would love a 92SB-C but that is very unlikely to happen :P.

hope of them releasing any new pistols in the Hi-Power range.

So this, if they made one without the stupid ladder sights and even made a Mk.2 or Mk.3 I would be very tempted to get one but as it stands the HP needs an update.

Still if this works out it might bode well for the HP coming back too.

Here is a nice video from some chap in the WE factory.

From what i can gather - it will have a working decocker - it will be full auto as well as semi - it comes in a fancy case akin to the WE P virus - it shoots nice......for now!

If this turns out to be a decent clone (with trades) of the new TM then I might consider it.

Otherwise I'll stick with the aged KJW that I have at the moment (looks like but has held up surprisingly well over the last three years).

I only have one WE pistol, one of the HK3P Glocks, which seems well made enough, although I haven't used it a great deal.

Hmmm... I am almost as hyped for these M9s as I was for the M&P :D

I want one, or two... Maybe three. I always wanted a silver M9 but never got one. I am thinking black M9 and M9A1 and a silver M9 as well. Woop-de-doop.

Will not be in a hurry to get these though, will see if traded ones come out or if there are any problems out of the box.

It's saturday and it's normally WE's day of release for new products in Taiwan. I think the MP5K dropped today and possibly also the M9's or it's just a preview/teaser post. I am not sure if they are for sale or if they just have a demo available, but either way it should be close to release.

Unfortunately no price has been posted from Hammer Model.

Anyone else come to the conclusion that both rear and front sight are removable?

Back to the full-auto capability: Anyone else interested in pestering WE to get us some Tetragramaton M9s??

:)

If they have the odd AR type selector arrangement then yes. That would just make my day. However I know that when I fire it I will get about 5 shots then a long spurt of gas :(.
