IronWolf
Click here and scroll down Sounds reassuringly good over all, though the slide must be taken off to adjust hopup. The review also answers the question about ASGK which i remember was being debated a while back.
snowman
Some reasonable pictures - Be nice to see an independent review soon (rather than one from a retailer). Still looks a bit 'springerish' from the photos, though... Cheers.
5thElement
Looks good to me
whiteair0nes
I agree with snowman.
Jamalen
"real 9mm experience" obviously these peeps haven't fired real pistols. The closes someone could give you in airsoft would be to get you to hold the pistol and then slap the muzzle.. hard.. that might jerk the gun like the real thing.. Still, pistol sounds good, will have to "invest" and find out..
partyboy
I think the plastics look very nice actually, they look much better than the horrible shinyness of the tacmaster. Very few visible mould lines on the one in those pics. Also the texturing on the grips looks very nice (not that it matters cause im gonna put some hogue grips on mine ) Hoping to pic mine up on wednesday so i'll post a little review if i can put it down for long enough. As to the real 9mm experience, i think they are refering to the return stroke of the slide (i.e. it is as quick as a real 9mm). Id loved to see a gbb that recoiled like a real gun, but id be scared about the slide flying off the back and maiming me
Jamalen
But at least you would die with a smile on your face (and a pistols slide sticking out of your chest)
snowman
As referenced on the news page - There's another 'review' - With much better photos - at http://www.new-akiba.com/toy/marui/sigsauer/02/index.html Some pretty obvious seams in some of the shots, I'm afraid... Cheers.
Rob15
has anyone on this forum got one yet though
partyboy
Some pretty obvious seams in some of the shots, I'm afraid... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeh shame Althought there dont seem to be any obvious ones on the top side of the gun, just the ones in the picture below which shows the underside of the gun. What i do like though is inside the magazine port you can see little brass inserts for the grip screws to go into, thats a nice touch.
5thElement
Seams are probably showing up alot more due to the harsh lighting used in the photos, it makes the whole gun look pale grey, all the other pics i've seen its looked alot darker and blacker, like the first picture in this thread. Look at the difference in color between the 2.
HaVoC
I suspect the real deal has seam lines too, actually.
Rob15
I suspect the real deal has seam lines too, actually. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It does, ive looked at all of the sigs on remtec or whatever it is arms and they have seamlines
lionel
Makes sense for real gun's to have seams on the plastic, it's not like they need to get rid of cosmetic detail....
Catchv22
Why would a real SIG have seam lines? The lower frame is one piece and machined, not cast.

doc_newstead
I look forward to ordering it from AD. Then ringing them every week to ask if they've sent it yet :|
HaVoC
Order it from Fire-Support - their site says they have 14 left in stock (or did when I looked last night, anyway).
enzo100
Anyone recieve theirs yet?
Shao14
I'd like to review one of these, but from the look of my current budget, I may have to wait till next year. *sigh* hmm... maybe I can sell my desert eagle...*goes to make a for sale thread*
DarkLite
Hah. You will all cry when I get a KJW FMV P226 when It comes out in half a year or so. Full metal copies with greengas capabilities at 3/4s the price, can't be beat.
Jamalen
I must admit KJW did a good Full Metal Para-Ord 14-45, I still have one kicking around the house somewhere But I found the KJW metal M9 and Metal Glock 23's that came out, performed NOWHERE near their plastic marui competition... they drank to much gas, got cold too quick.. and where generally disappointing.. We had 2x KJW M9's and FOUR Metal Glock23's.. and we ended up selling them on and going back to Marui... These days I would take a Marui plastic GBB over a Metal copy.. just because its more relaiable in the field..
Wege
Wellll. On the grips of real SIGPRO there are seam or molding lines on the plastic grips there. Soo if there are 'seam lines' on the TM 226, I suspect that i will NOT be griping about it in anyway. Makes it more 'or-theen-teek' like
snowman
Isn't the frame on a real 226 metal? Certainly wouldn't make any sense to have seam lines... http://www.lasermax-inc.com/training/deale...%20LMS-2261.jpg - Look! No seams! Cheers.
partyboy
yeh its metal and no it shouldnt have seams, i can put up with them though as long as it doesnt horribly leak gas like my tanaka p220
