Couple of new G&G guns

I have yet to see a proper AIMs clone. Which is pretty interesting because G&G AKs usually have full bolts so does this one have the battery housed in the foregrip? (There were some pics of it at the shotshow)

I'm just waiting for their FAMAS. For some reason, my Type-97 fetish is over, and my FAMAS fetish is beginning.

I know the VFC had photos from the Shot Show showing their AIMS with a slot in the foregrip for the battery, but I don't recall any of G&G. It would certainly be interesting if it did, but I cant care too much seeing as I just ordered my VFC AIMS this morning :D

Suitably priced and with decent eye relief ;)

Really don't get why they did an armalite, ak and HK, the market is saturated with them, no one really goes near G+G due to their QC issue but there must be someone out there buying the stuff....why not do something interesting like the rarer HK weapons like the G41?

Why does everyone lone the AIMS in real steel it used to be known as the worst piece of *beep* AK out their.

Hehe, good point. Because of looks. People like AKs, and this AK is . . . different. Not many people like a normal AK47 (you don't see much of them in the AK picture threads) and AK74's are getting more common, so I figure the AIMs is one that's not seen that much making it great for the majority of us who want to 'stick out'.

And Plus, AKs with those vertical foregrips are comfy as hell.

See, I just don't get that.

How does G&G stay in business if no one buys their products? Someone out there must be buying G&G stuff...

G&G seems to produce the least used and reviewed guns. Everyone still considers their QC terrible but there have been a few reports about their M14 line that suggests that they've made incredible improvements... yet, that history of guns exploding and the like is still there.

Who are we to believe? :smurf:

I own two G&G M4s i run 9.6 2000 MAHs in them and have put 20.000 rounds thrught both and they still work grate. ive got an old gg m16 and it is old version an it died so i replased the piston an bushings lube and it shoots grate to this day but i might of put only 10.000 rounds through that one

Does CrimsonFalcon from ASR post here? He recently reviewed one of G&G's latest version M4s and he said it was great.

I've read a few other reviews about G&G guns and they seem to have the same tone. Maybe they've drastically improved.

Yeah.

I said the same about my L85. Right up until the point where it broke.

Seriously, people buy a new gun and fire off a few hundred shots in their back yard and then announce that it's perfect!

Never ceases to amaze me how many people buy a controversial gun (not just G&G), and shout from the rooftops about how brilliant it is.

6 months later you notice them talking about a different gun and you ask what happened to their previous gun and the response is always "LOL, it was junk so I sold it!".

@Felix: Okay, that's not the gun to set my heart on fire, but at least FIVE MILLION PEOPLE AREN'T MAKING IT and it's based on parts we already have from various corners... not a bad choice.

@RSM: G41 YES!

Am I the only one who gets annoyed at the very sight of a G3SAS or a Beta Spetz (more so at the former)? Can we please have something other than M4 no. 5,149,842? If you're going to do an M4, make it superlative, the M4 to end all others... I'm pretty sure that G&G are not the folks to do that. Now with the SUSAT, they may have something...

And while we are on AKs... AMD-63/65 anyone? Vz-58 or ANY Valmet would also be good contenders for some new fodder, even though the Vz is not really anything like an AK except in gross appearance.
