Plymouth Roadrunner
Well, we've got a price on the Echo 1 Minigun, even though its out of stock. Way out of my price range, I was hoping that it would be under 1k.. LINKAGE
acem4
RIPOFF comig from a clone company,( Crappy) at that it shouldn't be more than $
Renalan
You do know that this isn't a clone, right? R&D can be quite expensive.
freebo
Yea Echo1 are a re-brander IIRC. Still $3500 jee... I remember loads of people saying 'no chance its more than $1000' before it was released.. and well looks like they've taken a possibly good selling gun (well for the people willing to pay $1000 for it) and made it somewhat pointless to buy and out of reach of most people gearing up for it. Catman
Ouch! While I wasn't expecting $1000 I wasn't expecting $3500 either. I'll certainly be giving that a miss then
master_titled
After being scolded, apparently it was a Echo1 and CAW collaboration. Yay team work! So it's not really a re-brand.
PlasticMag
Who on earth would believe that a minigun would be sub $1k? Wow, serious pipe dreams going on...
Svack
I was thinking $1500 - $1800 ah well, wasn't gonna buy one anyway
sikath
I have held the gun at our Distributor and it feels very nice. Nice and hefty. The price tag isnt very bad compared to other mini guns on the market. Sadfully I didnt get a chance to fire it but I did get a phone call one day at the shop and my boss was holding the phone as it was firing and it was pretty insane. So if you want a "non clone" go pay your 6k for a Piper Presicion (Which honestly looks nice and feels nice, but doesnt fire very well) Or get this guy and be impressed. Vercingetorix
eh, not a major loss anyway.... Not practical or something I'd want to waste my moneys on anyway... Especially when I could make a nice pistol with that kinda moneys.... (in reference to the earlier thought $1000, not $3000 lol)
Spencedaddy
wasn't expecting 3500 thats like my car
dannyboy
lets not throw milsim out the window -Joe I really do hate that kinda attitude ¬_¬ Shock horror, not everyone who airsofts is into milsim. And yes, much lols at the people who thought this would be ubercheap. edity afterthought, have the clone 249's made a huge difference to milsim?

Last time I checked the M249 was a real world weapon (in use I might add) and not a fantasy POS.

dannyboy
Last time I checked the M249 was a real world weapon (in use I might add) and not a fantasy POS. You know the minigun is a real weapon, yeah?
Catman
I think he means that there's no handheld version of a minigun outside Hollywood. When a 7.62mm minigun fires at 6000rpm it's exerting something like over a ton in recoil (something crazy like that anyway) A minigun would make for a great vehicle mounted or fixed position weapon. Fighting Maus
I hope thats what he meant. I own a airsoft minigun. I paid a ton for my P3 version. I have used it twice this year. It works great, although 6 hop ups are a pain in the *albartroth* to adjust. I bought it because it is as high up the real/airsoft small arms food chain as you can climb. Yeah, it was a s**load of cash, but worth it to me in the end because I was able to fill a spot in my collection with something I can't get in real steel.
