teflon don
do want i wonder what kind of gearbox it uses man those chines guys are fast to clone something
NeoVeNoM
do want i wonder what kind of gearbox it uses man those chines guys are fast to clone something Well, if it's the VFC version they cloned, I wouldn't be calling it fast. Since it's no longer available for a few years already. Gearbox might be a V2, though I hope it to be a V3.
teflon don
i would guess that its a clone of the socom gear barrett i didn't know that vfc made one but it might as well be a clone of the hurricane one only time will tell
Munitions Man
Looks interesting. If it gets a good review I'll buy it. That's a damn good price!
L4byr1nth
Sure it's an AEG? Maybe they just listed it as that. Why would the same company make a spring M99, and an electric M82A1? Ben.
Skarclaw
Cause there are electric m82s out on the market, and there is only spring m99s on the market previously.
L4byr1nth
Could be, I guess. I was just expecting them to put the same APS2 system into a different shell. Still, another option, I guess. Ben.
cazboab
The Hurricane(IIRC) M99 kit they ripped off went on an aps, Hurricane's M82 kit goes on an M16, so its not that big a leap. The biggest flaw I can see with this is whatever you do it'll still be an M16 tarted up in a big daft heavy sheet metal dress.
teflon don
just think about it using a 12 kilo gun and being out ranged by bar 10 or even a stock m14 there is something about those m4 hop up unit that makes the less accurate than m14
PheonixZero
Wonder if there is any way to mod it to use said M14 hopup... Got a big enough body that I would think it would be possible.
A Tobias
what about the m4 hop up is so fundamentally wrong that it can never be as accurate as a vsr 10 hop up?
Victory
So, you think they'll release a C-Mag to go along with it? I wouldn't be suprised... -Vic
Versus
Could it actually just be the OEM of the Socom Gear?
Username_Here
The Hurricane(IIRC) M99 kit they ripped off went on an aps, Hurricane's M82 kit goes on an M16, so its not that big a leap. The biggest flaw I can see with this is whatever you do it'll still be an M16 tarted up in a big daft heavy sheet metal dress. PDW was the original makers of the M99 APS2 kits, HurricanE is the maker of the M82 M16 conversion. This sadly appears to be a copy of the Hurricane M82, which is just a big disappointment. The mags are oddly shaped and the rifles proportions are slightly off. Would of been awesome for a clone of the Socom Gear 107 instead of this.
somegirls
I#d guess on a socom gear clone as well. Socom Gear is on a reseller like Echo1 used to be. So they're not making guns themselves. Anyways, it's awesome.(ly looking)
Tango_Down
Holy... I've been into airsoft a long time, I've seen M82A1s up close and dammit I'm going to have to get one of these!
Horsem4n
im going to keep my eye on this. its most likely a hurricane clone being that its the oldest M82 kit, lots of time to plan cloning it.
Sgt.Griff
This news has suddenly reinspired my idea to try sniping haha.
Pendra
Some more pics: http://www.power-dy.com/show.aspx?id=2759&cid=5 http://www.tacticalgeardepot.com/product_i...products_id=549 The short mag and the short gearbox house suggest it is a 100% copy of the HurricanE kit. V2 gearbox and M4 hopup inside. It is a fair bet that the muzzle break is plastic and the outer barrel is alu.
Chrissyg
If this runs off a V2 gearbox I'm actually more inclined to get it, didn't (or don't) Madbull make a GBB replacement gearbox for V2's?
Victory
If this runs off a V2 gearbox I'm actually more inclined to get it, didn't (or don't) Madbull make a GBB replacement gearbox for V2's? Yep, but it wasn't all that great. -Vic
cazboab
And it wasn't GBB.
Chrissyg
Gone off the idea all of a sudden...
