  1. Trying to watch videos of these so called 'end of world preppers' going on about how to carry a gun around your house with a full chest rig on is making me laugh too much. You know when the 'end' comes they will be either the first to get shot in a drunken rampage or stay home and try to shag their sister :P.

It is more the attitude that these people have, though it does worry me that they might mistake anything for 'the end' and just start shooting.

If they didn't showcase the loons there wouldn't be a show interesting enough to watch.

Indeed. We want to see the plebs accidentally shooting themselves and starting massive fires inside abandoned buildings.

  2. I am not sure. The internals look near identical from what I recall. However the new models have a fixed hop while the Movie Prop had that silly grub screw adjustable hop that never really worked well anyway. I doubt it would make a difference but you never know. Though I found that the suppressor on the Movie Prop was part of the issue and that the new one is better off without it. I mean it doesn't really matter on a gun this size given the crack it makes when it firea anyway. Finally only thing to note is that when using the decocker to drop the hammer sometimes you get a little
  3. I am to please . But I must admit it has suprised me a lot. I may even play a few indoor games with just this pistol and a few magazines, should be more than enough up to the 15m mark. 'FireKnife'
  4. Maruzen NEW!!! PPK/S Initial Review: The Box: A very typical and standard affair here, polystyrene, gun shaped and secure enough without much space for anything other than the typical pack of BBs you get with most guns out of the box. Included is a pistol, magazine, manual and a little piece of plastic tubing. This tubing appears to be for unjamming the pistol or removing BBs when cleaning. As I already have a better tool this was thrown out but it is nice to see it was included. The Gun: Well this is the main feature and I must say what a main feature it is for such a sm
  5. 50 shots (so five shells) from one fill isn't bad at all. Now can't wait to get mine. 'FireKnife'
  6. Gah, and on a Series 70 too??!! I could understand a MEU or Night Warrior but pink on a classic blued pistol looks just, well wrong. 'FireKnife'
  7. For the truest of the true fans of TM you can now buy a Tokyo Marui fake bullet in a case or even a face towel. Must admit the .45ACP is tempting: http://www.tokyo-marui.co.jp/ec/

That makes them sound like a condom manufacturer . . .

TM brand condoms? Well they would never leak, be made of plastic and the less said about the white beads coming out the barrel the better eh? :P

    3. Aod

      Aod

Hey, those are the same ones that came with all the TM "Variation Line" guns. They're actually very nice, they're made of lathe-turned solid brass, not hollow.

  8. Huh, it has been a while since I went airsoft, it is either raining, busy with work, busy with women or the game is cancelled....... I want to go and shoot something damn it :P

      FireKnife

Nope, it meant that the site couldn't run due to the design of it (it was about two-three days of heavy rain before that too).

Well once my MOT is sorted I will get my "UKARA" thing done, get more games in and buy me a shotgun :D

  9. Seems to be the prevailing opinion. Good to actually use but looks like a pig. 'FireKnife'
  10. Still looks like a fat girl with small tits to me . But nice to see some good pictures of one. 'FireKnife'
  11. Just watched a film in which Hercules throws a bear into outerspace..... a bear, into space, using his hands. Because all the money in the world can make us pass Dwayne Johnson as Hercules but I highly doubt he will throw a bear into space with his hands....

  12. That reminds me to get my rig and some gas sorted so I can get back to playing more pistol primary and leave my MP5K at home until winter (saying that I just use it like a giant pistol sometimes anyway). Will get some pictures up of my typical 1911, the one that is just my workhorse. 'FireKnife'
  13. Item I win for cheap price on eBay: Turns up next day. Item I buy on Sunday for near normal price still not here and no response from buyer, who is a shop. Confusion reigns supreme!

  14. Needs extended mag, magwell and light / laser combo for that . Still, while not being a fan of modern 1911s, awesome work on the RMR and tall sights. 'FireKnife'
  15. No it wasn't, was it . Damn it I need to attend a game, mostly so I have pictures of myself poncing about in my new indoor idea (once I find an indoor site that isn't covered in paintballs, don't want to ruin it with that stuff). 'FireKnife'
  16. I do recall seeing something about the older style MEU being built on 're-accurised and re-fitted' 1911s from surplus while the newer model (one the TM is built from) can be all sorts, depending on the numbers they needed and who supplied the parts if they didn't have older frames to work one. Suppose that is one thing for a classic meatl pistol, if it gets worn then just melt it down and reform it again, especially given that the US Armed Forces have millions of 1911s left lying around after the post-war stock . 'FireKnife'
  17. Tomorrow I get a day of people falling of horses wearing too much metal. It is going to be fun considering today it was protestors dressed as robots fighting to techno.

  18. I truly think only fire can stop my 1911s working . Saying that as for holsters the EMC is about the best bet. TM kinda made the rail a bit of an odd spec and so most conventional plastic holsters need a bit of fitting / shaping. Thankfully the EMC ignores the rail / light and holds on to the slide and trigger guard area making it a good holster for various light options. As for mounting it on the likes of MOLLE well there is always the mounting plate that you can buy. 'FireKnife'
  19. The 'V' versions given in airsoft are sometimes a misnomer for when a K or full length is fitted with the C type of railed carry handle than the typical one with a built in sight. In reality the V is just as said the new E but as with many other such things in airsoft (or real steel for that matter) the V handle is sometimes used incorrectly. Saying that I am still tempted for a K with the C type irons and rail. Only thing is I would need the PMAGS as I don't like the lugged up standard mags. 'FireKnife'
  20. Just sounds like a bit of shoddy WE design then to me. If it still lets you carry cocked and locked then yeah should be ok. 'FireKnife'
  21. Buy a rubber one and hurl it at people in a game? Assuming said site and players are fine with such play? Still given most knives are really for show due to the fact they can't be carried is a tomahawk any different? You are still spending money on something that might never see the light of day either way? Failing that buy more guns, they might instead see use. 'FireKnife'
  22. Does the half cock still work (the hammer holds half way between loaded and down if thumbed back)? Can you still pull the trigger when the hammer is down and the safety is 'on'. It might be nothing major assuming the safety still works. 'FireKnife'
  23. Did I miss something here: http://www.rsov.com/product.php?langId=1¤cyId=2&manufacturerId=10&prodId=19640&cateId=608 V12 ported, TM clone looking Wilson Combat pistol from ARMY? Nice

That does look nice. But my pistol heart belongs to the fnx45 (well, for this year any way).

For what it costs it is hardly bad. Plus I could put some better internals in it if it is Marui based.

Ahh *fruitcage* and I just got paid today!

  24. Cheap is £10 DPM from a tatty surplus shop to me. $149.99 is about three loadouts . Still looks nice. 'FireKnife'
  25. They have vastly improved from the guns they had out 7-8 years ago when I started. Back then they made market stall springers look viable. I am sure someone might say 'oh you could do this to the gearbox so the trigger delay is down by 0.3 of a second' of something but personally unless I am spending say £50 to double may range or half my groupings I don't really like to get into that whole money arms race. Plus if it is working as you like it and matches you why change it? Means you have less excuse to hang at the back and more chances to be up front in the action with your gun chugging a
