After accidentally buying two TM P226's and then a shedload of mags for them, I was looking for a few ways that I could stash my mags without making use of the multitude of pockets I find about my person at a skirmish but was also easily accessable and would look good. This review is about a pair of boots I have been wearing for over a year and has had extensive use in different environments. I bought the Magnum Elite Spider 8 Inch boots when I was set to head out to my job on fast jets out in the Middle East. I was looking for a boot that was going to be light and comfortable and being the airsofter that I am, I started to look at the tactical desert boots from all the big names such as Oakley, Converse, Bates, etc. but I kept coming back to my trusty Magnum classics that I have worn for years and have never let me down. I think I paid 300 AED for my pair from the Oakley shop in Dubai. Polimil have them alot cheaper but at the time they didn't have my size in stock and the shop in Dubai did. In hindsight, I don't think I will buy another pair. They are good but I would rather buy some of the Kevlar solags from Blackhawk or get a pair of the Damascus gloves.

I've just ordered a RICAS compact in Tan (yay for living in a desert) with a few different pouches and being a useless bugger who has a tendency to leave everything to the last minute I want Saturday delivery so I can use it in a game at F&O Asylum on Sunday so I rang up and they were really helpful. Just thought I would comment how helpful they were on the phone. Insh'allah it will all turn up tomorrow with no problem.

Well if all you present if your head then they will shoot at it anyway, regardless of if there is a skull mask thing round your face. FFS just let him be. If that's what he wants to wear whilst skirmishing then fair play to him. No one said we had to be 100% accurate to real life forces when we dress up, as long as the person is earing something that he or she likes then why not let them without moaning about it? There are alot of things that people wear in airsoft for the look alone that offers very little, if anything, in the way of practical use or protection in airsoft but people carry it

Do you have plans for an international airsoft game over a weekend or so? I'm always looking for somewhere to spend my leave and a big airsoft event in Portugal would be a perfect excuse!

I'd be surprised if alot of the non-FCS tech. from it wasn't removed though.

Well, I happen to think that it does so that is why I won't be wearing my ACU for woodland games. If it's a part of kit restrictions then I will have to but I'd rather use DPM or Woodland MARPAT or even some Russian patterns that I found to work alot better, even at closer ranges that airsoft operates at. I've not tried to force other people to do this so it shouldn't really matter what some people believe as my comment was about what I am going to do.

I love my ACU but, fluff me, not gonna be wearing it for woodland games!

Our concept: Err, very loosely a team. We play together occasionally and some of these weekenders wanna know a team name.

Gonna be a while before I am back home so thought I would stock up on things to read whilst back in the UK. When I got back in Kingdom, I had this waiting for me. With a 3.3 V6 engine it's a little more powerful than my 1.4 Ibiza back in the UK. And finally whilst in Dubai hitting the bars and waterparks, I picked up this book.

Accidental purchase but I think I can find some use for it somewhere.
