      You can order a WE XM177E2 barrel. Or an M16A1 barrel. But that may mean new front sight also.

      heh this was i got the gun for a tenner cheaper then their webprice and got a WE red dot (£44) and 3x maginifier (£70-100) on top for free so i think i made out like a bandit XD. I have modded some other mags to fit and deans are on their way.

      i tried shouting yes also thanks RC :) but im not gonna have to pick up an adapter as its not going to close over an older carbine barrel.

      If it doesn't have a grenade cut it won't ever close. If the length wont match you can turn the part that touches the barrel to adjust for fit.

      A tip I learnt off Mobius Strip is to cut down a drill bit for those tricky small diameter pins.

      Handy thing with the drill bits is, assuming you have a set, you can run though them and test until you get a tight fit.

    Can an ICS v3 gearbox handle a 7.4 lipo stock? or am i onto a shot trip to painsville?

      should be able to! a 7.4 V lipo is somewhere between an 8.4 and a 9.6 NiMH so I'd say you're pretty safe.

      7.4v LiPo's are roughly the same as a good, freshly charged 8.4v NiMh/NiCd, so it will be more than fine. However, make sure you treat it well! LiPo's are a bit more high-maintenance than standard batteries.
