I thought about the Bomber MRP as Redwolf have a 10% promo right now, but that and 6 Prowin Mags would cost $1,300 so I ordered a KSC Magpul M4 instead for half the price, comes with NPAS already installed too!

That's kind of the problem... I love my M4 the way it is now, but the MRP has always been my personal favourite blaster. Loved my AEG one to bits, just wish I could afford the WOC How is the KSC anyway?

Hasn't been delivered as yet but I had the 1st KSC M4 and was well impressed with build quality and gas efficiency. Should be even better now with improved hop.

Yeah, but it's taking it's fair time; A friend of mine in the industry (Always wanted to use that phrase) is organising it through G&P, but he's left his current employment and is moving on, and I'm looking at probably a couple of months into next year before it shows up. Don't suppose you got much of a look at the hop system? I know it's different to the regular G&P, and I'm hoping it's decent as I imagine it'll be trickier to change...

Nope, but a mte of mine out in HK uses the Pro Win hop on all of his WA platform GBBR's and I was quite impressed with the performance. If I was to ever go back to the WA platform, I would defo be switching the hop. Unlikely though, as my KWA/KSC (with Guarder and RA Tech upgrades) ROCKS!

See I'm not sure if the MRP would take the Pro-win; Tbh the RA-Tech setup in the one you sold me was an absolute tack driver, just not really adjustable once I fitted the spring.. I was tempted by the KWA/KSC system, but the MRP (evidently) holds a special place in my heart. That, and I stripped down a couple of the G&P Pmags due to selling them on and minor leaks - Such a simple, easy to fix design it's ridiculous!

Ah I see what you mean; That definitely looks like a much simpler and cleaner design. Saying that, maybe it's just me, but personally I've always felt the only improvement a decently build WA gun needs is in the hop system.. Maybe I'm just lucky. Still, I'm not gonna lie, GHK's design does look very well thought out, it's just not something I can see myself being interested in besides the hop and magazines!

LOOOOL, Mine was firing in -1, Yeah the recoil was weak but it still worked and as soon as it hit 2Celsius it was working beautifully

My WE AK and M4 were also fine.

Except I did have 2 M4 mags vent the once but that was it.

I'm guessing a $2K Ino would feature a steel BCG? I should really have mentioned 'GBB's are fine - If you prepare for winter first'. It does take a bit of common sense to keep them running.

Also, Reppy - How is your WE AK with the steel in it now? It's a toss-up between a WE AK or a GHK PDW next, although I'm leaning towards the PDW due to the mags...

The AEG version. Problem is, the 2 little contact ridges are too flexible - Even with a solid nub, there's too much give. Might try a harder version if they do one, but the 55 degree feels not much tougher than a carrier bag.

The concept seems good, and I may have got a duff one - But it's pretty dissapointing, I had quite high hopes - The 55 degree is really flimsy rubber though.

I've owned in the region of 20 TM pistols, some stock, some with various upgrades, including 5-6 1911's and a couple of Hicapa's, over several years, a couple with metal slides or whole metal kits. This thing IS, not might be, IS, factually better than my HurricanE kitted, professionally installed £458 Kimber TEII. It's more gas efficient, the slide is snappier, the action is smoother, and the parts are a better fit. The trigger even has a cleaner break and it came out the box...

The hurricane TEII kit is factually better than the army metal body, in both construction and fit. I'm unsure where you got your kit installed, but by no means should it be worse than the army standard metal bodies. The gas efficiency does not come from the metal body (unless you're referring by weight, the lighter the better and in that respect both are heavy alloy aluminum). And the cleanness of the trigger shouldn't be affected at all by the MBK.

I didn't say the kit; I was referring to the gun as a whole. For the record, the TEII kit was on a TM MEU, fitted by Mike Cripps of ESS. What I'm saying is, the Army gun is a better performing and shooting piece than my particular TEII was. However, the Army gun, including the quality of the slide and frame, is entirely on a par with HurricanE's effort.

Well I never....TBH, it's already happened to me, out of 8 primaries, only 2 are G&P now, not down to quality, just down to variety.

For me it's down to the kick/feel/etc. Don't get me wrong, I still say G&P make the best V2 AR's going. But it's such a major difference - The fun factor in firing it makes up for the extra maintenance and everything else. Plus the kick (while still not much) is a lot better than I expected!
