    It does, yes - To a certain degree. I need to test it when it's brighter outside, but what mine does, is it (On a cloudy day) requires the battery to function, but when I take it outside it's like the solar cell takes over to a degree. The red dot gets brighter and becomes super visible. The King Arms red dot I've got, by comparison, is pants outside.     Quick update to my S17, It now fires on full auto! Great/awful I spoke to Armourpiercing at The Mall and he suggested that it's the trigger sear that's not engaging. I did notice that the screw holding in the BBU is extremely loose. When I tightened it it did seem to improve a bit. I'm wondering if I loctite it it'll resolve itself. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has had any issues.

    6-shot setting sometimes fires 5 shots, gas tank is v. weak and expands over time.

    The one thing I really don't like on the G5 is the stock pistol grip. Really needs to be changed - It's way too uncomfortable.

    I agree. There's something so incredibly utilitarian about them, almost ugly - but the aesthetic grew on me for sure. Ergonomically they're my favourite pistol.

    This is exactly my views as well. When I lubed the gun and then used Predator gas, it ruined the bolt and I had to fully clean it. Using propane, it's absolutely fine.
