thewallhitme
Nomnomnom alas, i was all clad in my SF-like gear today hoping to get some photos in the field, but dang it i forgot the picture taking divice. we also traded some money for a plastic bodied ICS m4. its the full stock RIS version, but it was very well priced and has usual ICS internals. i was thinking a collapsible stock version would be a good base for a L119a1. has anyone tried this? im guessing there will be problems with compatibility with parts, as nothing in my life is that simple. Deviat
Cheers dude, I've got knee pads if you check my trousers Not got the right PTT, but not bothering with that, my radio isnt right, but its an awesome radio You can't see on my belt kit, but I've got my BH CQC holster with my sig in, and a ms2000 strobe on the back of the helmet
tom lawson
Bar the correct PTT unit, BFG sticking out of the frag pouch, Peltor headset and NVG mount, pretty sweet! All the above are fairly unavoidable however. One thing that I'd add would be a black cable tie around the stock pad to keep it on. However if you run a lipo in the stock tube a cable tie isn't practical.
Deviat
PTT is unavoidable tbh, the BFG sticks out as im too lazy to buy another pouch Peltor Comtac IIs are what im wearing, NVG mount, well, awaiting a replica to be made Cheers for comments
tom lawson
PTT is unavoidable tbh Orly?
Deviat
Haha ok, well it is when I'm not forking out that much money for a CT5, no point in getting a CT1 as it's wrong
Doughguy
There are CT1´s floating around supposedly. An you coul put the radio into one of those mbitr dummies anyway, cool kit

However if you run a lipo in the stock tube a cable tie isn't practical. Tom, you can slide all the stock away and manage to work on the battery in/out of the stock tube... A plastic cable tie is useful to avoid to drop & loose your buttpad (happened twice to me)...
Deviat
My radio is an Alinco dj446, no chance thats fitting into a MBITR case
tomster
Deviat: awesome setup you got there with the RAV and multicam. Looks so badass!
ianhaz
Rav looks great with the multicam Deviat, what BDUs are you wearing? I've been in the market for some DA style (with pads) multicam for a while now but i cant afford the proper crye stuff and the ebaybanned kit is apparently too small for anyone taller than 5'
Deviat
Don't touch the ebaybanned stuff, looks awful! I use the dragonred version, pretty awesome, nion identical to crye. Cheers for comments guys
The Crunchy Bunny
Yeah, avoid the EBB Crye Combats. The pattern is *fruitcage* awful and they are made of some wierd material thats thin and frays super easy.
jkoyr
Some Desert Storm stuff from my last skirmish : Don't ask for dusty - dirty look - if you're married you'll understand
mattyw
^ You should get some desert boots. Grow your hair and dont shave for 6 weeks and you have the look. Edit: I love the back ground it looks like you are in GW1 and you have just came back from a fire fight.
Murta369
wasnt always desert boots for gw1 mate for example b20 had quite a few black brit issue boots. bar a few others and then ryan who had hiking boots
