sekiryu
Fellow P90 RD owners: How many lenses have actually been shot out? I find it hard to believe--the lenses are at least 3mm thick. The material I was going to use to reinforce the lenses was about the same thickness.
CobaltSky
I realise I'm not an owner but I did want one of these for a while and so I've done a fair bit of reading up. I haven't heard any reports of the new lenses being shot out. All the complaints seem to be from people who have the old version or don't own one and have less than up-to-date info. TOTMS
Well I use the TR with an aimpoint. Its a much larger target compared to the RD and I have not had any problems - even with the flap up lense covers. And I am known for charging into a hails of bbs
sekiryu
In my backyard/room shooting I've found the standard P90's sight to be just fine--although adjusting elevation and windage could be less of a pain in the *albatross*...

Jagdraben
That is art in the same way that slicing up an animal is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>  Don't ###### off the taxidermists.  ®
CobaltSky
They stuff animals, I was referring to mutilation. (and a piece by a certain "artist")
Jagdraben
Taxidermists slice up animals. They also sew them back together. They aren't just handed a perfect, dead specimen and then fill it fill of stuffing through the *albartroth*, afterall.
CobaltSky
I'm too tired to argue what I meant. You can keep on being difficult, I'm going to sleep.
Nicoli
I have an RD, and the lense has never taken a hit let alone be shot out so s'all good.

Tell me how it works by the way, I need a nice flashlight for Police equipment. (practical use ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> B-E-A-utiful! I love it! You can find them on Ebay NEW for around 20-30 dollars. Very bright. Be careful though, when I looked at the bulb (like an idiot) it made me blind for about 1 sec! Might not sound like much, but for a flashlight that's pretty effective! But really, wonderful flashlight. I think it's built out of reinforced steel.
Endospore
Well, the whole idea of a flashlight (other than being able to see the suspect ) in Law Enforcement is to make yourself less visible to the suspect. So blind is good  Could you get me a picture of how well it lights up maybe? Like it shining in a pitch black room or outside at night. I'd really appreciate it! You can PM it to me though, if you can get it, so it doesn't clutter up the P90 pictures
