Eddie182
Evenin all, Just thought I'd pop my head in and say I'm back in sunny blighty. Made through my tour in the ghan in one piece, apart from being generally broken from lack of sleep etc. I'll post a few pics once I've gone through them and filtered all the rubbish out. Right, Jimmy when's the next OP:MA, sort it. Cheers Ed

Eddie182
did you enjoy yourself, where were you based? I might be off to Helmand this winter myself, as part of 5 commando bde. Darkchild I wouldn't say I "enjoyed" it, but it wasn't terrible. Was based in Kandahar, only did a couple of trips to Helmand. If you're off in winter mate take some seriously warm kit with you, we hit -12c without wind chill just after Christmas and Helmand is normally a degree or two colder than Kandahar (Slightly higher altitude). Eddie182
Couple of pics. A few that I've already uploaded, will try and get some more up soon. The view from the back of a Chinook somewhere over Helmand. One of my favourite shots, WAH-64 escorting a Chinook. The top gear team pay us a visit just after Christmas. Me during a rare break. And finnally, I decided that my rifle just didn't provide the nessesary firepower so I found something bigger....
