Xaccers
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bristol/7862721.stm Basically, in a suburban cul-de-sac, someone's running a legitimate pr0n business, and the neighbours have got wind and are not happy. Gotta love this quote: If you've got pornography here now, you're going to have prostitution next, you're going to have drugs. In a residential area? No way - no way Yes, so there you have it, pr0n leads to hookers and drugs. You have been warned!
sekiryu
I'd be more concerned about my kids (hypothetically speaking) hearing "oh god yes! oh god! oh god! YES!" all the time.....
RedScare
Why would your hypothetical kids be on the guys property?
sekiryu
......if I hypothetically lived next door, then they wouldn't have to be on the guy's property. And kids run around neighborhoods all the time.
Xaccers
......if I hypothetically lived next door, then they wouldn't have to be on the guy's property. And kids run around neighborhoods all the time. The'd have to be really really loud "Oh yes! Oh yes!" going on.
Nicoli
Wouldn't bother me in the slightest
RedScare
The house would have to be REALLY close together with REALLY thin walls. You would have to teach your kids to be proper and not run around trespassing.
sekiryu
I used to hear ###### going on next door and our houses are 40ft apart with brick walls.....
Anteater
And kids run around neighborhoods all the time. You mean like in GTA right? Childhood atrophy isn't fast enough.
Xaccers
Not to mention that if your kids know what "oh god yes!" being called out actually means, then what's the problem if they hear it? If they don't know what it means, again, what's the problem if they hear it? Would you be that embarrassed?

Kraut
Yes, so there you have it, pr0n leads to hookers and drugs. You have been warned! Actually, this is quite true in regard to a lot of pr0n businesses. I know for a fact that this is at least true with mob-run pr0n businesses.
Stealthbomber
Two things... Firstly, the porn industry IS pretty heavily into drugs. They have their uses when it comes to, erm, performing. Secondly, this might sound a bit hypocritical but I'd be more concerned about how and where the stuff gets sold. If the guy is selling it out of his house then you're going to get some rather unsavoury people in the area. If the guy is selling his stuff by post then I'd be worried that a package delivered to your house (and opened by your kids) might prove rather embarassing.

Xaccers
Firstly, the porn industry IS pretty heavily into drugs. They have their uses when it comes to, erm, performing. Knowing a few people in the industry, I have to ask what you base that statement on as none of them (camera men, photographers, models, makeup) are into drugs. It tends to "hinder" performance of both those filming and those being filmed.

Stealthbomber
Knowing a few people in the industry, I have to ask what you base that statement on as none of them (camera men, photographers, models, makeup) are into drugs. It tends to "hinder" performance of both those filming and those being filmed. Your friends are using the wrong sort of drugs.
