ollie_ty
The aluminium one is great and all, but the polymer one serves the same function. I just like shiny things.
G36fanatic...
needs a new lower and a lot of internal work, but other than that and needing an optic, its perfect for me.

blobface
WAT, the VFC top rail stil has mounts for the Iron sights? Very strange. Dude, are you trying to give me a heart attack, thankfully I obsessed over it and found an image of a RS with the rail VFC was replicating.. http://www.heckler-koch.com/en/military/products/assault-rifles/g36/g36c/overview.html although now they've replaced it with that... it's like in between that old one and this new one... ollie_ty
THAT looks like one of the prototype G36Cs, but the height isn't the same as your oneIs this the one you ordered? I dont understand why they've done the KSK height rail, but then just gone ahead and cut the G36C Iron sight points out of it EDIT: On a similar vein, seeing as its nearly my birthday, I've decided I DESERVE a few airsoft goodies. So I ordered a set of Clone TROY Micro battle sights, and now im Eyeing up that Begadi KSK rail. DAMN YOU FELDJAGER! Edited May 25, 2013 by ollie_ty

subjectxm13
My JG RIS. Chopped and changed quite a bit over the past few months; experimenting with different configurations and such. This seems to be a keeper though. Handy rear-wired stubby butt stock for ultimate battery retention Very interesting look. If the pistol grip was painted as well the gun would look much better. ollie_ty
Woah, blast from the past!
chas
I just got the new KVE from Jing Gong. Gun is like all other JG G36's, shoots nice, well built. RIS is light, bipod could be sturdier. http://www.airsofthelper.com/det.php?id=2111 But the Scope+RD suck so much *albatross* you wouldnt believe it: the red dot is impossible to see with minimal sunlight and the scope has less eye relief than a microscope. Any tips on which Scope+RD to get instead? There's the UFC: http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=UFC-SC-3623BK&search=special&rs=g36&catid=&cat= Or the S&T: http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=ST-SC-G36SWRD&search=special&rs=g36&catid=&cat=
Im going space
Honestly? They all suck. Even the real ones are *suitcase*.
Wild_XIII
My G36c next to my SL8. I'd say the Classic Army carry handle scope is probably the best, however it's still *suitcase*.
chas
Haha, OK then. I might just keep this then and use it at home when Im bored.
ollie_ty
I've tested them all, and I prefer my newest ARES tube to ALL the others, including the real one I bought. Its the clearest, with equal eye relief as the real tube. You can buy ARES tubes separately.
ollie_ty
And while we're at it, here's my G36 in its final (Woodland/Outdoors skirmish) form: (Minus a trigger ) Edited July 30, 2013 by ollie_ty
Wild_XIII
Isn't the trigger, you know, kind of important? I'm currently trying to source an SL8 sight rail and some small mags for my SL8. I think going through Ares (urgh) is the only way though.
ollie_ty
I've ditched the ARES gearbox and built another one instead, just some soldering left and shes good to go. Nothing wrong with going through ARES mate they make some good externals!
