blobface
Billet-machined steel body and bolt and a steel outer barrel? No wonder it's expensive... Oh wow, fair enough, thought it's one of those "magic touch" price tag, but fair play.... wish they'd just do one as a blued steel 870 with rs wood furniture instead of the Sailent stuff though..

NonEx
Update... So it turns out finding metric screws in MC6S in M6x205 and x260mm is not that easy. Tried looking, and a US user also looked around. However, I just installed my full stock with a DYI method. I had the original mounting hardware, which is a crush washer and a regular washer. And then I bought a 1m M6 threaded round-bar at the local hardware store: Cut it to required lenght, and put a locking nut at the end and installed it. Works like a charm! Just a tip in case you are looking for the "right" way to mount RS full stocks that require a different screw than the one that came with the rifle. Right now I screw it into the receiver first, slip the stock on, put the washers on and tighten down the locking nut. It's actually easier that way because it's a pain to align the screw in the receiver and get it to thread in properly. Edited May 22, 2015 by NonEx
Roland1014
Hey does anyone know if real barrels and trigger assemblies fit in the CAM870? Or *fruitcage* all, can I put the bolt in my real 870? Inb4 "thats not a good idea"
Brigg
No, No and No. In that order.
Roland1014
What real parts fit?
Brigg
furniture mostly. nothing internal. though the stock mounting bolt is metric.
vorpalbunnie
Actually an old wingmaster barrel assembly did fit mine besides a single piece of metal jutting out. Some dremel time could have fixed it though my grandfather would not have liked that.
Dj_komodo
Finally had the motivation to take my old G&P light and made some major modifications to make it fit on my CAM 870. A lot of dremeling had to be done and the final result was pretty satisfying
BioRage
RS shell lifter fits, lol with some mods.
Dj_komodo
Lost my front sight, anyone knows how to replace it?
NonEx
Find the sight, and put it back with loctite I lost my front sight too when I filmed the "A Day at The Range" video. Luckily my extrasensory perception is extraordinary so I was able to walk down there, look in a 1x1m square of dirt and rocks and find it Other than that, email APS, they will sort you out! Dj_komodo
Oh find the sight you say? Why didn't I think about that? Silly ol' me JL progression has a fiber sight but it's out of stock everywhere and it's a bit expensive: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Accessories_Scopes_and_Sights_GBB_JL_Progression_Big_Dot_Front_Sight_Set_for_APS_CAM870.htm I should try making one of my own if I can't find it :/
NonEx
Did you lose it indoors or outdoors ? lol But yah, APS! Never had an issue contacting them for help.
Safeword
Thought I post this here to, don't see that many modified cam870 AOW shotguns. traded my grip for a friends wood stock and tried to make a apocalypse shotgun thing, turned out pretty nice if I can say so myself.

Roland1014
Why has APS not made a MCS breacher with pachmayr grip and 10 inch barrel yet?
mvirtue
Why has APS not made a MCS breacher with pachmayr grip and 10 inch barrel yet? The Serbu is the closest they have done... You could get that, add the RS grip and fore. Presto, change-o...
NonEx
Full stock wood version for $236.50 USD at AirSplat: http://www.airsplat.com/aps-cam-870-metal-co2-shotgun.html
aznriptide859
Any reason why Airsplat seems to be liquidating their APS stuff? I want to sell mine, but the Serbu is tempting.
Roland1014
The Serbu is the closest they have done... You could get that, add the RS grip and fore. Presto, change-o... Too short though. Serbu is 6.5" barrel and MCS breacher is
NonEx
Any reason why Airsplat seems to be liquidating their APS stuff? I want to sell mine, but the Serbu is tempting. Dunno. From what I have seen lately APS CAM870 platform is on the rise with the new found popularity for it in the airsoft 3 gun competitions. So doubt it's an APS issue.
