Azulsky
Yeah that looks like that 51k someone built at HKpro, one of many over there. Yeah i have seen the welded ones too, but the ctd ones i like because i was worried about fitting the mechanism into a curved mag because i dont know what having a curved tube would do to the feeding I think there are different ones because they originate from the CETME era, which began before the g3 if i am not mistaken, or alongside. I also picked up somewhere, that some of the mags were South African in origin. It wouldnt be the first time they were responsible for an hk variation, heck they pretty much sparked the mp5k. I daresay the curved ones are CETMES that function in g3's only because cetme 20rnd clips are curved too, while all the mags i see designated specifically for hk91 and g3 are straight/welded. I think the ones that are at cheaper than dirt are the ones that a gunbroker auction attributes to a company Western Metal Products, and they are listed as preban magazines. Wai Hoong Chan
Wai Hoong Chan, very nice! How difficult was it to mod the lower receiver like that? Any tips? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cheers dude I bought this exact lower receiver replacement from Zero One. http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...polymer%20lower Pretty easy to install and fits TM G3s! However the smaller pin holding the mag catch needed me to swap one of the (larger headed) rear screws to work... Oh, the lighted foregrip needed a bit of modification with a dremel
thatguy
Ta for the link! Very nice. I knew the foregrip needed modding, but that gives me a LOT of good ideas for the lower receiver. Cheers!
Bizurkur
Anyone know if the M41 and the MC51 are the same length for a nitro rail?
NeoVeNoM
Last time I checked, they had about the same dimensions. The best thing to do is go to a shop en compare the MC 51 with your M41 to be sure.

Wai Hoong Chan
hehehe I like the HK logo! that is a clearer photo of the top rail thanks, does it replace the rear sight on a regular MC51? also, how does the front trigger work the gearbox? is it mechanical? :S

(so you'll need new sights) And the trigger is electric. when it's on safe, the current is broken. when it's on semi, the current is closed, and it's full auto instead of semi. the gearbox has been rewired and so is the battery connector. Maybe I should try to make it semi auto also, don't know how yet. (it's a lot of work, dismantling 2 bodies, and a gearbox .) Edited August 14, 2007 by NeoVeNoM
